I thought this may be of some help...........
Excellent article on Liver-flushing.
Green stones...........
The common Liver Flush consists of Epsom salt, olive oil and grapefruit juice but these are superficial liver flushes and a scam. Even with the dilation of the bile ducts from the magnesium, real Gallstones wouldn’t be able to pass through. The pea green stones removed are going to float and real gall stones will sink. The pseudo stones that people pass through their bowel movements are a by-product of the mixture of olive oil and the Epsom Salts . There is no way people are passing hundreds of stones each time they do a liver flush..................... http://fresh-network.typepad.com/fresh_network_blog/2012/07/why-we-will-all-feel-a-big-difference-once-we-start-to-love-our-liver.html#more
"The pea green stones removed are going to float and real gall stones will sink. The pseudo stones that people pass through their bowel movements are a by-product of the mixture of olive oil and the Epsom Salts ."
Another anti-liver flushing article that fails to take into consideration many people do not use Epson salts (I don't) and some use different oils. Yet they pass the same greenish colored stones.
Randomness,
I think you will find that the article on caring for your Liver is not an "anti-Liver-flushing-article" at all, but an article on "cleansing the Liver": both of which have identical aims.
The author also stresses the need for a colon detox prior to Liver-cleansing. She has expressed an opinion, but the proof is in the pudding as it were.
please provide the chemical reaction by which olive oil and magnesium turn into dark green crytalized stones...
surely such a simple combination would be easy to make in a test tube, no?
methinks it is similar to the formula by which little girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice...
i.e. nonsense.
nonetheless, i am interested if you can come up with a chemical reaction or formula and not just the usual nonsense of 'a mixture of the oil and the Epsom Salts '.
gerty came up with the most compelling, yet ultimately ludicrous explanation, in that there was enough hydroxide in the intestines to saponify 6 ounces of oil. at least he was in the realm of chemistry, however off base and wrong he might have been.
none of the 'stones are formed by a mixture of oil and epsom salts' theories account for the different results with each flush, the near miraculous healings some people achieve, the color of the stones, spontaneous stone emission when people do not even take the oil, etc etc etc etc etc.
i'm a little surprised that you would spring this but so be it. if you would like to take it to the debate forum i would be glad to publicly show you how wrong you are.
my chrisb respectometer just took a nose dive.
it has been covered in the Debate Forums . stents are regularly put in people's common bile ducts that are as large as the stones people are passing, and this is even without the extra stimulation of the large amounts of oil.
whether the Liver Flush addresses the metabolic problems underlying stone formation is another issue. the mechanics of the flush have been proven over and over and over by thousands of people on curezone and throughout the world, and yet we have to keep edumacating people like yourself who will just not accept that it works.
