That is my only conclusion. I feel this is XMRV I know you will say it doesnt exist.
So please tell me what are the symptoms compated to mine.
It started out after I had intercourse one night with and during kissing the part under my tongue got cut (ripped) and my mouth was bloody. I know very frightening. They continued kissing me, I cleaned it up and some how we finished as I thought it was over with.
Then I had a funny taste in my mouth for weeks, the dentist gave me AntiBiotics which didnt work.
My Tongue Became White.
I started having Double vision, and Weakness, Foggy Brain, Nuerological Problems, stuttering, sensitivity to light. This continued for weeks.
Then I had sex with a woman I know for some time, after I started experiencing bladder problems. That came back Clean also. Then G.I issues and my spleen had pain, back pain also.
What could be going on?
It just seems like that's the only thing I dont know.
-viruses are not the only pathogen that could be transmitted
needless to say, humans serve as vectors for disease - human papaloma virus is a common virus spread via sexua| contact which causes cervical cancer in females and for males it transmits from an infected female and will colonize the esophagus area from oral sex, studies show that hpv is responsible for oral/throat cancer. Of course many other pathogens can be transmitted as well -
Many of the symptoms suggest a non-viral issue but rather bacteria, parasite, or fungal/yeast which if I were to guess the symptoms sound more like a yeast/fungal/mold issue. Sensitivity to light is called photophobia and is caused by a pathogen involvement usually non-viral, same with the brain fog issue.
I would question if this was passed via sexua| contact as you did not state if the others were sick - I would think if they complained about the same then this would be a big clue.
White tongue could be a yeast issue (thrush), can be also an indicator for gastro involvement - any gastro issues on the onset? If so then I would be looking at parasites, yeast or a rogue bacteria situation.

As the previous reply says, it could be any number of different infections and potentially that could've triggered the neurological disease ME/CFS. There is no reason to think it's XMRV as the evidence suggests that XMRV is not capable of causing a pathological infection in humans. Also, when scientists injected rhesus macaque monkeys with huge amounts of XMRV and observed them for many months after, none exhibited any symptoms.
Have you seen a neurologist or immunologist? Some of your symptoms are consistent with ME/CFS, but also other conditions like multiple sclerosis. You really should push for a specialist opinion.
There are no symptoms that have been shown to be associated with XMRV, nor has it been shown that anybody is actively infected with this virus, that was accidentally created in a lab during the creation of a prostate cancer cell line in the 1990s and has been shown to have contaminated samples and cell lines in some labs.
Yes but how do you explain this person testing positive for it? If that's not what he had then what was his problem? Its scary because if it was CFS/M.E he would be tired for months/years not weeks.
1. The most scariest part about this is since they said this "doesnt exist", now there is nothing to go off of. I would most likely be stuck with no answer or help because nothing can be found so far. My bladder or I think my Prostate makes noise constantly. My spleen pain is slight at times annoying.
2.And I heard that this "was" one of the viruses linked to Autism. I would like to have children and not knowing what is wrong can most likely put them in danger. Even if not that people with CFS/ME should not have kids. Wouldnt it still be in my semen/ Saliva.
3. This Xmrv (or whatever retrovirus it might be in the future) was supposedly worse than HIV because it becomes more apart of your DNA.
4. How in the world can people say they cure HIV/AIDS like viruses if it makes itself apart of your DNA.
I know im looking into this alot but all of this sounds too familiar.
It doesn't matter whether she tested positive for XMRV, as the test was meaningless and about as consistent as tossing a coin. All positive results were false positives. I also tested positive myself, but then negative by another lab.
ME/CFS and MS can both be relapsing remitting, can both be triggered by viral infections and can both respond to treatment. My own illness, like 80% of ME/CFS sufferers started suddenly with a viral infection. There are likely many viruses and probably retroviruses that are yet to be discovered and new ones that are being born all the time.
1. Your best bet is to work on strengthening your immune system, with a healthy diet, supplements, relaxation and meditation, healthy sleep and light exercise/activity within your limits.
2. No published work has linked XMRV to autism.
3. Retroviruses like HIV integrate into the DNA of infected cells only, not all cells. Those cells can be killed and the virus prevented from replicating.
4. There is not a cure for HIV, but drugs exist that can control it. There have been some reported cases of XMRV being eradicated completely by use of the immune system drug, GcMAF.
There's no point worrying about XMRV, as like so many scientific findings, it was a dead end.
