Today is my 30th day of fasting. I think I’ve reached my limits. I can’t go for another week. I’m mentally and physically exhausted. I’m so looking forward to eating tomorrow. I miss chewing and my teeth feel lose. And most of the time I’m in bed watching you tube videos, not exactly a life.
But I don’t want to give up yet. I decided to change my plan from 6/1 to 3/1; that is, 3 days of fasting followed by one day of eating. I hope I will be able to limit my eating to fruits and veggies, green juices and morning protein shake. Planning to start to take vitamins as well. If I reach Labor Day that would be fantastic. Will keep you posted.

Well done Anne,
30 days is quite an achievement, but I would concentrate on the refeeding for the next 30 days and then perhaps IF (Intermittent Fasting) of one day feeding normally, and then the next as fasting. One day on and then one day off alternately.
Hugely beneficial.
Unfortunately after Labor Day my schedule will change so before that happen my intent is to maximize benefits of the cleansing. I'm still in the middle of it and my tongue is still white. I'm sure 3/1 plan will be ok; it will allow me to be more agile and I may still get the additional 20 fasting days.
After that I will refeed myself, perhaps eating once a day, not sure yet.
I tend to agree with Chris about the re-feeding. If your mineral reserves were low- and they are for anyone who is not in the best health- then it takes some sustained attention at restoring these. I now do a kind of *condensed intermittent fasting*, which seems ideal to me. It is essentially fasting for nineteen hours out of every 24. In effect, it means I eat one meal--and that one is the evening meal.
Or possibly two smaller ones, within that five hour period.
I feel it gives the body lots of time to clean house, and work slowly and steadily at maintaining and constantly rebuilding health, (since there is an onslaught of external factors affecting us all), while allowing me to stay in tune with what the body really wants, (as opposed to programming)on any given day. Most often, it is fruits and vegetables. Occasionally, some fish or an egg. Lots of seaweed, good oils, nuts and seeds... I find the body needs less and less--but first, it needs to replenish the mineral stores; it is that balance that makes everything run optimally, and one can get the most of minute portions of this and that. And in fact, thrive.
Well done on your focus!
****edit--just saw your response to Chris. Well, you're a pioneer, for certain. I'm not sure what to make of the 3/1 plan--in terms of its effects. For me,the boomerang effect would be quite stressful to the body, to my body, I think--but perhaps not at all, to yours. Hope you are keeping some good notes on your experience, day to day.
I never tried, but for what I read the one-meal-per-day plan looks very appealing to me. And once I stop fasting, I believe that will be way to go.
I agree with you about the stress on a body and in some ways this 3/1 plan will be harder than the previous one—if for nothing else I’ll have to learn how to eat--but it is amazing how body regulates itself. As an example, before I started fasting, only a month ago, I was able without any (noticeable) problems to devour 20,000 calories in one hour. The last Sunday, however, it took me an hour to finish a single, medium size peach.
Just now thinking of that I realized, it was really a huge journey in such a short time. I really have to be happy about it.
Thanks for your e-mail.
