I went through ten and half years of worthless testing before seeing cahill and getting diagnosis of histolytica..
even after Cahill found histolytica my local labs did not find it.
Too many people are suffering needlessly.
what I dont understand is why isnt Cahill using his clout to get the word out about this dire problem? (any one have a personal relationship with him to speak with him about this?). I asked him during my exam why this testing wasnt being done and he told me when he followed up with the gastroenterologists he had trained they laughed and told him they were not doing this type of testing because they could make more in a day performing colonoscopies than Cahill makes in a week; and that was the end of the conversation as he shook his head disapprovingly, (Cahill is notoriously short on words).
I have been trying to brainstorm a way to get this "story" told to the general public. (something like 60 minutes status). I think its of utmost importance for following generations and shame on the medical system for loosing what they learned not so long ago. This technique is not new nor difficult.
I think part of the problem came about with modern medical lab testing and doctors began to rely on them for diagnosis; and of course no doctor today wants to do such menial/messy testing or deal with fresh samples under a microscope, so much more easy to just direct patients to the lab.
After dealing with some of the lab techs at my local Kaiser I can say I worry about accuracy in general. They are not dealing directly with a patient who is looking towards them and expecting results.
So any ideas how to get this story out into the open? This is serious.
Yes, I agree, he is short with words. I was just there this week! I was wondering if he was training other doctors to do this. It would take someone with a real interest in this to want to pursue this type of practice. He is definitely getting up there with age. Once he retires, who will be able to do this? He could push it more, but he could be to old to have the drive. Maybe he did not talk to many GI doctors. I must say he has an extremely busy office!!! Many people were there to see him. There is a need for him to keep this going. It's a shame!!! GI doctors don't even think parasites exist because they never see anything positive come back on those worthless stool tests! Also, Cahill's staff is not very personable. But I'm sure someone in that office knows if when he retires, there would be someone else to take over..?
Dr. oz is in NY; I bet he does know Cahill but now exactly what he does; it would be great if he could expose this. He did do a show on parasite a few days back.

I said the same thing before; yes, very very important to get this word out to the public; I think Cahill does not want to appear pompous because other doctors even parasitologists think there method is superior; For example, John E. Asher of Jetti Katz, who charged me 2000 dollars for worth less tetsing; and who claims his NY 5th Avenue lab is the best in the world for testing, says that his method is best; and I asked him why he missed E. Histolytica in me but only found bigus Blastocystis and gave me 21 days of Metronidazole and literally killed me. I asked him why Cahill found it and his Jetti Katz lab He had ano answers; he saimply said, yes he is ver old reputable doctor who always find Eh.
Eh does not know that most people who go to Cahill have been passed by other incompetant doctors. who do not want to do the dirty work that Cahill does. They really on stool samples; and evntually when the patient is not better, they say they got iBS and Crohn, candida, etc. Absolute nonsense and worthless untruth. These are not doctors. they are not interested in diagnosis; only treating symptoms..... The whole medical profession is interested in treating symptoms; my local GIP said the he could not do anything except to treat my symptoms; this was doctor telling a patient who was perfectly well 3 months before that all these symptoms came suddenly for no reason. My local doctor said that before I went to NY, the no body will find anything else in me;
Since Cahill';s diagnosis, I have shown him his books and papers to my local doctors, and he has now apologized.... But other doctors are not like him.
It would be great to do a 60 minute piece on this; perhaps someone can contact it? with connection?
Because after Cahill no one will do this; and the world will suffer. Including doctors.
By the way, my doctor also apologized saying that in medical school, they are never given training in parasites; he said that is how it is sctructured now.
I seriously think Dr. oz is the only hope to get the word out. I can write to the show. I don't know if it will ever reach him. Oz is open to new ideas, He is different and not closed minded like 99.9% of all other doctors. He is our only hope to get the word out. If others write in, this will raise a flag to them. Others need to do this too. One letter will not raise concern.
perhaps we will be more convincing once we have been treated and are well again...
maybe we should wait for a group of healed Cahill patients before we make our case?
Just a thought. I dont want to be too enthusiastic until Im better. But since Cahill is older I dont want to waste any time either.
Gibby what a great idea! And I believe if we couldnt get Dr.Oz's attention we could get through to his wife!
Ok, so I wont get too excited until I'm healed but I think a good plan would be to get a group of us together and appeal to Dr. oz with letters and emails and then if possible arrange to meet and tell our story. I would be willing to travel to New York for sure, I think meeting in person would have the most effect. Dr. Oz might have the best possibility of getting Cahill to speak out.
Really any doctor who takes up this type of practice would be in work forever and able to feel great about his contribution to society. There is so much work to be done considering GI infections, parasites and drug resistance that is not being done in personal practice.
Gastroenterologist are of no help unless you have something that is simple to diagnosis like celiac or a tumor. Getting the diagnosis of IBS is not helpful!!!

Yes, this will be a good show. I will also write; in some way, we have to do this to make thsi more clear; for years; so many on curezone even had not even heard of Cahill, until I found him and Dr. Martin Wolfe iN washignton DC.
So I am amazed that so many on curezone really never told others about Cahill; I have posted on how I went about finding him.

Although I am not clear and well yet, your testomonial gives me a lot of hope. I had seen posts on Cahill before, but never took them seriously because I was a metametrix believer. that is why I questioned you so much.
I was already on the show!! hahahah, well, I was going to talk about how to heal a cut, on the show, "medical myths", but I talked to much and said to much, and the producer didn't like me!!! It was funny but nerve wracking. I got bumped to the audience and was very very relieved.

You are most welcome; and yes, I saw one guy posted on Cahill just after I got sick, and he had negative review of Cahill; and never about his method or how does it; the guy complained that Cahill did not find any parasites even after he had shown Cahill his pictures of parasites! Not a very smart person to take pictires to Cahill.
Anyway, I think Cahill also says that even his method MAy not find all the parasites, and because medicine is not an exact scienece. But if you any of you guys had any of my systemrs of Brian's or tropicalboy, you know who to contact.
This is why Dr. Mrtin Wolfe is also important. Wolfe said that sometimes something so simple like Giardia cannot be found when it is with Eh. It then gets into the bile ducts and no stool test will reveal it;
So it is best to See WOlfe as as well, if you have other symptoms; YEs, "Cryptic Giardia" is really a deadly parasite.

My last infectious disease doctor said "wow, you have all the symptoms of parasites, but since you have not been out of the country and your tests are negative..."

Obviously parasites are common in people who are sick and cant find help or diagnosis.

I've always read,,"if your sick for a while and get no diagnosis..consider parasites". Even in the old medical journals.."consider parasites.
Agreed on his staff. They dont realize how valuable they are and how much good they are doing. I would be smiling from ear to ear everyday if I could do as much for a person in need.
Cahill in one of his books says to some effect that he keeps his practice going (even though he would be able to do other medical endeavors) because he believes being close to the patient keeps him humble. And he is, God bless him.

yes, there are a couple of people; I have read. In that case they must consider "cryptic giardia: and the best person for that is Dr. Martin Wolfe in Washignton DC. I used both of these amazing doctors. Too bad no body knew abotu them before, I had to suffer for a freaking year. And no mention of them on this forum.

I took my metametrix report, saying PPTU (Parasite present taxonomy unknown) to an infectious disease doctor a year or 2 ago.. He was very impressed with the extensive detailed test of Metametrix!!!!!!!!! He truly was amazed which surprised me because he was so open to the test!!!! But in the end, he told me to forget about the PPTU. He said we all have bugs in us, and that if he took the test, it would come up with bugs in him!!!!!!!! He said leave alone, and the fact that I had a hemmoroidectomy in 1997, and an anal fissure, that those would cause the itching. So, he said leave alone. so, that was his opinion.
Man, these criminal m*o*o*n doctors; why do they not believe the patients when they tell them are illl and they never have had problems like this.
