Lugols Iodine Therapy by  chantally  10 mon  604  Iodine Supplementati I am taking Lugols 5% iodine, starting with 4 drops/day to build up to 8 drops/day. I have a large uterine fibroid, but recently I am noticing hair thinning, dry skin and eyes. Since I started taking the Lugols this time ( I have taken it before in the past), I developed a spot on my lower lip that keeps drying and turning into a deepish scale. It falls off and does it again. I also feel periodically and suddenly exhausted and fall asleep in seconds. I'm thinking this is bromide detox. So I have been taking powdered C in water, lots of water, a B complex, and I just did my first dose of salt loading. Last night, I used magnesium oil on my skin. Anything else I should be doing? How quickly can I build up more drops of iodine? Or should I hold off? And how long should it take to detox?
