Hey, I've found it very difficult to change my diet/lifestyle enough (yet) to consistently conquer my gallstone problem. In my search I am becoming more convinced that the acid body/metabolism issue is a very serious one and that, like MH says, The non-human (or acid causing foods, is that a fair generalization?) foods we eat are the culprits when we eat too many more of them than the human foods we need.
I have also found that my experience validates that high stress levels also may be a big culprit in making the sludge waste in the liver that leads to gallstones.
Anyway, like MH says, overeating the 'wrong' foods (and acid Ph body?) leads to lots of waste being produced to help detox the toxic system. EX: ear wax, gallstones, and more things right??
I find that my recent focus is not so much about learning more of what MH knows, but validating what he has been telling us in so much more of what I read here and around the 'net, including such things as Kevin Trudeau's book, that I just skimmed. And lots of other author's info.
MH I believe you sort of have placed a hierarchy on the most beneficial foods, such as - in order - berries, fruits, nuts, seeds, vegetables, ... nut butters, then what???
Ok, so are acid causing foods and stress equal contributors, or I suppose if we ate a good enough human food diet then even high stress might not be as big a factor. On the other hand high stress can also be very bad as a few horrible high pressure jobs I have had proved to me. Take your pressure and shove it!
As children we could eat all the junk food and eat and eat with what seemed like no problems, naturally we know these things shorten our lives, BUT, what if we could always eat like that and experience no problems, to most, that would be the fountain of youth.
I suggest eating nothing to be the true Fountain of Youth.
"IF" we cure the stomach, then when the junk food makes us not perfect we STOP it day 1 and return to taking care of the stomach, normally we would be carefull for 3 days and then be normal once again, this is about as close to todays fountain of youth most will ever achieve and not a bad goal.
After the clean ups and fasting I have been able to eat what I want when I want as mixed or not as mixed as I please with no ill effects noticeable. Naturally I preach the more you know, the less you eat or shame on you! But when you desire, you should be able to eat what ever you want with no ill effects.
Thats why I put the little schooling together and bother with this forum, I believe all have the ability to keep health in their control and not depend upon others.
After the fruits, nuts/seeds then comes the vegetables, all the melons being the best.
