HUEREQUE?
Here I am seaching the whereabouts of Huereque(pronounced "Where-Ay-Kay").
This is a cactus that grows in the northwestern Mexican desert and is claimed on various Internet articles to have strong effects on lowering blood sugar levels. (I have found two spellings: Huerque and Huereque by many authors.)
SERVING SIZE:
A typical dose is 1200 mg daily, taken in capsules of 200 mg each, 3 times daily.
LOWERS BLOOD SUGAR LEVELS:
Claims of these articles mention insulin-dependant Type II diabetes patients eventually can discountine medicine(insulin, etc.) because of it's effect on blood sugar levels. Though I have not found any articles on side effects after six months of use tolerance to huereque can occur. The recommendation is to use huereque in four to six months straight and a one month break in between.
MY SEARCH CONTINUES FOR BETTER DIABETES HEALTH
Of course I am maintaining proper diet, exercise, other herbs, vitamins, juicing, proper sleep and stress relieving techniques to control my diabetes.
I am type II and am on the look-out for places for more information and purchase of Huereque Cactus.
hi DJDetails
I got it once before from a doctor his last name is Cuevas it was not very cheap buying it from him. When I finished my order I tried to get more but they did not have it anymore. I tried to get it from his supplier (the name was still on the package) but they were not selling it anymore. It says in some websites that huereque is a cactus, but it is not really a cactus, when i did my research I found out that is actually related to squash o more like a squah. Try to research under the names of Huereque, or Guereque, or Wereque. Some words like this,in Spanish have a variable spelling because the word is originally an Aztec word, and people pronunce the word the same but they can write in different ways
I hope you can find it and
Salud
