I've done the MC in the past and faithfully used distilled water. However a couple of times in a pinch, I have purchased conventional spring water like Poland Spring because distilled wasn't available. Thinking back to those cleanses, I can't recall feeling any difference between making the lemonade with distilled or spring water. So my question is, can I do the cleanse just using my Britta filtered water instead of buying jug after jug of distilled and throwing away all those plastic bottles.

I am new to this and you made me doubt myself. You know that feeling... you are sure you are right till someone questions something and then you doubt yourself.
Well you should use SPRING or PURIFIED water. Chapter 2 , page 17... in the "HOW TO MAKE IT."
I DON'T KNOW ABOUT DISTILLED. IT"S PURIFIED ISN'T IT?
I'm sure a real pro will answer you soon. Sincerely alienlady
Actually, I hate the taste of distilled water. Seems...bland and artificial-like. Hard to explain. Okay, so would you say my filtered Brita water falls under the "purified water" umbrella? BTW, that you all for your help!
I aced my 'pure' filter system after reading the small print...at 8 bucks a filter...ugh! coulda bought a nice one w/that dough...I had been using that for years, too.
I'm not familiar w/windmill...if you mean the ones in the stores those are usually reverse osmosis, which is good(if kept up to standards)yet not too sanitary.
