thanks for you support feel much better today. had a big BM this morning, passed lots of old soild waste, which relived early morning stomach cramps.
my slump may have come about because i only had 9 glasses of lemonade instead of my normal 12, and i was walking around the city all day. I'm 29 and a 6'4 large framed man, so i think 12 glasses is right for me.
one thing that is really worrying me is that after my slump yesterday, is that i have a very big football/soccer game on sunday. it's a cup final. i havent really done any exercise on the MC, and although im in goal i worried i may not have the energy to compete. Any advice on what to do? can i take more lemonade? or some sort of food just for that day? or should i not play? or should i come of the MC tomorrow (9days) and live to fight another day. It's stressing me out as i dont want to let the team down.

I think you should come off the MC, especially for the game. The MC does provide all the necessary nutrients and vitamins but for a sporting event you do need to consume some carbs to store up as energy. 9 days is commendable and the next time you'll do more days...try to plan the MC around when you have some down time, with no activity.
The best carbs to load up on are grains: pasta (whole wheat is healthiest), brown rice, and cereals. starches: potatoes, legumes (beans), squash; fruits and of course milk always does a body good!
How do you feel after 9 days? have you lost much weight? what was your weight before?
Stocking up the day before and the morning of is a good idea...and then you can definitely go back to the MC afterwards. Just make sure you have no more games for a few weeks and you should be fine. How long are you aiming to do it for?

But just like I get up each morning and take the hour plus train ride to work, I just woke up and knew it was something that had to be done and did it. But I think I will break it Saturday as I will be out most of the day.

It's quite alright...I've asked a couple of questions myself. I'm in NYC and a retail analyst. And this is my first MC...I started it Monday and was a little nervous at how long my will power would hold out for. So, I decided to try this for 5 days, since on the weekends I will be out for most of the day.
Is this your first MC? A filmmaker, well that's very interesting and gratifying, I hope? In all honesty you probably should have broken the cleanse today!
