Just decided to post again on the mp as an update to my last. WELL, between yesterday and today I am definitely a SMALLER PERSON and I am usually referred to as tiny anyway (particularly since the candida diet...).
Anyway, I released sooooo much m/p!! I know our intestines are 26 feet and all curled up in our body cavity and YES...with lots of folds (so much debris can hide) but the amount that comes out is TRULY ASTONISHING!!! If more comes out tomorrow, I won't be able to write any more posts because I'LL DISAPPEAR!! (LOL!!)
No wonder candida flourished...I had a ONE TOXIC ENVIRONMENT!!!!!!!!
In the last month....I used acv shakes (1 tbsp each of acv, o/o and psyllium) in addition to cat's claw (an intestinal cleaner) and quite cheap here in Canada. Quite frankly, I have found that fibrous veggies such as kale and carrots were contributing factors...I had these with every meal in the last month. I steamed them only lightly so they maintained their fibrous effect, I believe. (prior to the last 2 months, I have had great difficulty with bms (constipation)!
For the last week, I have been doing acv enemas (after bm) to help remove residue m/p from my bowel because I would release A LOT...then there was always stuff left that the enema helped out! Also, the enema helped to remove some very dark stool that was sometimes warm/hot coming out (indication of toxins departing!!).
I also drink some aloe vera juice and l-glutamine to help heal my intestine (after all that!).
We'll see what tomorrow will bring...there honestly can't be more!! : ))
Well, I've got the EXACT same problem. I've experimented on myself till I'm blue. But I'm still itchy and have those same welts that appear after scratching as you describe. It's been going on for me 4 months now. It's not so bad in the daytime nowdays...but at night the itching/scratching gets rather silly. Luckily, I seem to be very slowly improving. I used to depend on Zyrtec....but now I seem to get along ok without it.
Here's what really helps me:
Instead of scratching with your fingernails, scratch vigorously with a natural bristled dry brush. Amazingly it not only physically satisfies the itch (unlike fingernails) but it also quickly eliminates the underlying irritaion in that area due to the increased circultion. Try it!
Also..you mentioned cayenne pepper. This is an incredible secret: consuming cayenne. I found that if I mix several shakes of cayenne pepper in a small glass of vegetable juice (or warm water) it stops the itching for a good 2 hours. It's been a God-send to me. Cayenne pepper is great for alot of things, so don't be shy about using it. I take it almost everywhere I go. Most people carry a wallet or purse...I carry cayenne pepper! My wife thinks I'm a certified nut!
I also started seeing improvement after doing enemas. This is not a quick fix, but seems to help in the long run. Long, hot baths also help.
Scaling back on your anti-fungals will also help. I choose to go slowly nowdays. It's not a race. Good luck. Tom
When I passed MP also realized that my candida had a where to hide.
I think I still have some ...
I will try the shakes with ACV.
Thanks and congratulations
I take the shake twice daily, but one must "work up" to that ...depending on their bowel situation (constipation). "When" you release m/p depends on the indidivual (yes it is a cryptic response, but there is none other : )) Keep in mind, I have been on the candida diet for 10 months and have been very strict in addition to constant cleansing, supplements...
