Is it just me or is the cadida way of eating very similar to the diabetes 'diet' in many ways? It also seems to go along with the low-carb craze. When I spoke with a friend the other day about starting the candida cleanse and diet, he said it might work - and that's what works about the low-carb craze....lots of the population actually has candida and doesnt know it - so when they starve the candida by limiting all carbs = poof = better health and good weight loss. Just a thought :)
Not to crazy a thought! I have mused that question myself. I think it is possible. As to the diets being similar, yes to low carb, but no to diabtes diet. Dibetes diet inlcudes bread and is not actually low in carbs (I have type 1 so am familiar). However, some docs are prescribing lower carb diets now for their diabetic patients, btu the traditional diabetic diet is actualy high in carbs,
Hi. Do you know if they mean type 1 or type 2? Though type 2 makes sense, and even seems obvious in many ways, I am wondering what will happen to my type 1 after I am all healed. I am certainly on much much less insulin since treating candida. There were days I could not keep up with how low my blood sugar was. I don't really have any signs of candia anymore, just dealing with the toxic aftermath, btu I am hoping that when my liver clears up I wil be in much better shape. And the quesrion for me is, will type 1 reverse itself after the initiating infection (supposedly candida) is eradicated?
