I thought beans & rice were low-fat foods but am experiencing gallbladder attack from them. I was planning my second flush for tomorrow but wish I had done it today instead. I ate protein today because I know I can't have any tomorrow. I was afraid olive oil would make me sick after protein or I would have done it tonight. O the pain and agony.

When liver and gallbladder are exteremely weak, any food can trigger an attack.
It does not have to be food with fat.
Attack can be triggered by any food that you are unable to tolerate well.
It can also be triggered by a bad combination of foods.
Never combine meat with rice or with beans.
It is combination hard to digest, and it can trigger an attack.
Any combination of beans and grains is hard to digest for most people.
So, avoid combining beans and grains.
Also, beans in itself are hard to digest food for many people (gas, bloating, ...)
When choosing beans, choose those that you are sure to tolerete well!

I just wanted to add a couple thoughts to Agnes's wonderful post. She's exactly right in what she said. When my GB problems became acute, the only food I could tolerate was fruit...anything else sent me into agony. I'd encourage you to do the liver cleanse if possible. I did not know about the liver cleanse until after I'd had my GB removed...and was still having attacks! There were stones in my common bile duct. The liver cleanse flushed them all out! I've since done 8 cleanses and passed over 2,000 stones...proof that stones are in the liver!
Couple more thoughts, make sure you drink plenty of water and organic apple juice. Also, eat organic foods that are good for you liver, in the form of juice if possible: beets, radishes, Celery , carrots and grapefruit (it's better not to combine veggies with any fruit except apple)
