Some people absorb more of the clay than they should. Some people get sensitive to psyllium and need to switch to a different fiber. I've heard of people taking them for 3-6 months with no problem, but I also know of people who had problems with 2 weeks. IBS requires a holistic approach. Fiber is a necessary part of the protocol so long as there is no bleeding or lesions. But mostly you have to avoid allergans and eat a very simple diet of mostly cooked foods and follow all the rules for the power of digestion (see post in the FAQ for this forum). De-stressing is also important. An important part of fasting and cleansing is abstaining from drama, gossip, taking offense, addictions to deadlines, road rage, that kind of thing. Add To Favorites!
