I just thought I might add a comment about something I am now doing that is really working. I had hives for the last three weeks. I came across a technique that actually worked. Within 24 hours I noticed a dramatic change with less itching and whelps. The solution was using Bentonite clay and psyllium husks on alternate days with caprylic acid. Although many have tried this, I approached the process using a diffefernt method. The only caprylic acid I could find was in capsule form so I emptied a daily doseage (2 capsules) in a glass of water, added a daily dose of bentonite clay and mixed well. The caprylic acid, mixed with the clay, travels slowly through the intestines, getting at the fungi that infects the colon. I alternate the clay every other day with psyllium, dissolving the C. acid in the psyllium husk. I tried collodial silver and grapefruit seed extract for several weeks without seeing much of a change in hives. I am not saying that the C. silver and GSE don't work, but I didn't see much of a result from using the two approaches. This one, however, has proved quite effective. I do believe a lot has to do with the method. One thing for sure, I am happy to not have the itching and the whelps. Also, my energy level has increased dramatically.
Dont' forget the probiotics. I am taking a good quality brand of probiotics.
So you tried the CS. Along with MSM and Vitamen C? And for how long did you try CS? This is is a protocol I heard tremendous results are to be expected.
Do you notice a difference in digestion/bloating feeling (if you have this symptom of candida) with the alternation technique (clay/caprylic and psyllum)
I would like to do the CS protocol as soon as I can. I think I might combine your technique. It couldn't hurt. I guess the caprylic/clay will draw even more toxins out and the psyllum help eliminate...
I just wonder are you getting into the tissues/blood with this program?
I've heard CS gets the candida that has embedded at a cellular level the tissues.
I mean how long do you think you will need to take these products?
I'm hoping to rid my imbalance completely! Then rebuild friendly flora.
Unfortunately, I didn't see much result from the CS. It was then that I decided to try the Acid/Clay/Psyllium method. I strated noticing results within 24 hours. My rashes were minimized. It has been about 2 weeks and, with the exception of a few days where I ate some refined sugar products and had a small rash, the rashes have basically all disappeared. I found this method on a web site. The site tried to promote their product but I thought I would try it myself using the clay, acid, and psyllium purchased locally. They warned that the process would have to continue from 3-12 months. I think I'll keep mine going for 3 months and see how I feelk at that point. So far, so good.
I'm not knocking anyone who has tried CS but my sources at the local health food store and other major suppliers agree that CS has not thoroughly been proven yet, That doesn't mean it doesn't work but since Caprylic Acid has a good history of fighting Candida, I thought I'd try it.
