I recently had a bad case of extreme pain which was originally diagnosed as gallstones. However, the ultrasound showed no stones in either the gallbladder or liver and all my other abdominal organs were said to be in healthy condition. I've been taking the lemon/olive oil/water mixture every morning for two days now and thought I'd finish it up with an Epsom Salts flush this Saturday.
My questions are: Should I continue on as planned to do a flush this weekend?
***Has anyone ever had a 'negative' ultrasound and still produced stones following a flush?***
Hi There, I have been reading and following some of the dialogue or messaging for a year or so now, I decided it was time to jump in hoping to find some answers.
I have had gall bladder and upper rib cage pain for 5 to 6 years now as a 37 year old male. I have seen 3 different surgeons in this time. The first two reluctant to take my gall bladder out and the last one consented to doing the surgery but offered no suggestion as to why I keep producing these stones. I have done the olive oil grapefruit/lemon juice cleanse probably 100-150 times in the last 5 years. I was very ill last winter and thought I was going to die. No energy, dark circles under my eyes glossy eyes, poor skin color. Totally flat all the time. I had been told the year prior that I had a fatty liver by the surgeon and that I should lose 10% of my body weight. I have lost the weight but I still produce these stones regularily. They used to be green or yellowish but now they are always kind of a black or greyhish color. I feel better now physically but as time goes on after doing these cleanses I start to feel a mounting pressure build in the upper rib cage area. The color of my stool starts to change or lighten slightly and I always have discomfort in the gallbladder ribcage area. Cleanse Usually lasts 2 weeks to a month before feeling pressure. It feels like the bile is being restricted causing a build up of pressure in my liver area and even causing pain in my spleen area. One thing I thought was peculiar was that I noticed after drinking a few beers regularily it seems to alleviate some of this pressure build up. I often wonder if the gall bladder is the cause of the bile stagnation in the liver or is just my poor liver? They do not perform Hida scans here just surgery. Over the years I have removed probably buckets of these stones, Will they ever stop? I am afraid of removing the gall bladder as I have heard it can make it worse as there is no contraction now to squezze bile into the small bowel and further stagnation can result. I have had 2 or 3 ultrasounds and a MRI or the ducts. All relatively normal, last MRI it was noted that I had at least one stone. Your thoughts or comments are aprreciated!
YES!!! I have had a negative Ultrasound and Hida Scan as well and have flushed hundreds of green and tan stones... This past Monday I passed a large stone, which I think had broken up... At least 1" long, yet in several pieces...
I had a x-ray,two ultrasounds ,1 CT and a hyda
scan. My DOCTOR said " you have no gallbladder problems, so there's nothing
that I can do for your pain".I had lost 52 lbs in less than 6 weeks from 4
surgeries and 6 debridements as a result of an incompetent DOCTOR.And I
found out later from the Harvard medical web site that this is what caused
my GB problems.Any way, after the "hydascan", I came home in a lot of pain
and found Dr.Clark's protocol for Gallstones and I passed over 80 stones the
following two days.My DOCTOR does not believe it, even after seeing
them!!Since then, with the help from some of these "good people" from the GB
web site, I have passed over 300 stones that wasn't there and when I watch
what I eat I feel so much better!!!.
I am not telling you to do this. This is my experience.
Good Luck, Frank

Sorry Dr Weil, As much as I like some of your stuff and believe in
you, this time you have to take a back seat to this one. I for a fact
had a pint jar of my stones analyzed at the lab and they came back
(choleserol).
after a negative ultrasound and liver/gall bladder function test, i have done 4 flushes to date. each time has produced stones, in fact, each successive flush has been more productive than the last.the first produced mainly chaff. the last, the great majority of stones were greater than green beans in size(forgive my size comparison to food) Each has produced between 1/4 and 1/2 CUPS of stones. Yes this is after a negative ultrasound. I am not saying my results are typical, it is just my experience.
You are not alone. I had 2 urtrasound scans last year and 1 this year - and neither of them showed any stones or anything like that in my GB. But I still don't feel well, so I will keep flushing!
