I decided to try almond oil this weekend - as I dislike the taste of olive oil. I found that the almond oil had little to no taste........and was easier to get down. Results were just as good as with the olive oil.
What olive oil are you using? Because many are rancid and taste horrible. It's important to use first cold-pressed, organic, extra virgin olive oil. Look for one in a dark glass bottle (protected from light which causes oil to go rancid). Bariani olive oil is excellent. You usually can find a good one at most health fod stores. Good olive oil tastes buttery and mild.
We all hate to drink straight olive oil even wtth a lemon chaser but the liver gall bladder clense is one of the greatest things you will ever do for yourself. Just drink it!!! Oils are very different and olive oil is not only very good for you but works the best with this cleanse. Use extra virgin organic olive oil. Take care and be healthy.
Sincerely yours,
Mark Korngute
P.S. Don't try to change what works. Just grin and bare it.......
I think the point is... and a very good point... that olive oil is not for everyone. Some won't or cannot take it. For those of us who cannot, it's not a question of will-power, but a question of what works. I'd surely like to know.
I too hate olive oil in large amounts. I have successfully used safflower oil on ten or more flushes and got great results. Safflower oil is tasteless. As far as I have experienced, there is no magic in using olive oil. I also used bottled grapefruit juice instead of fresh-squeased and still get results. My thought is to make this process as simple and easy to do so that I stick with it. I also am research oriented and RARELY accept the accepted way of doing things !
:) Happy flushing.
Also, I always have relaxing music on while doing a flush. I am attempting to LOVE my body , NOT beat it into submission.
I have read this question and the other answers. . .I know that some have used sesame oil, or almond oil. . .and I have seen a cleanse on this site that suggests peanut oil. . .what about flaxseed oil? (It is so good for you anyway, and tastes good, so I wondered. . .) I will have to be buying some more soon anyway, and I'd like to now spend more money than I need to at the store! Thanks for your prompt responses!
Robyn
I also have some hazelnut oil in the fridge; I wonder about that?
