Do you have any idea why your blood pressure is high? What is an average reading?
What is your diet/lifestyle like?
Are you under a lot of stress?
Are you overweight?
Are you physically active?
What is your age?
There is a Hypertension Forum here, I'll post a link below.
I would suggest drinking 8 glasses of water per day, distilled is best. Just straight water, if you drink other beverages they should not be included in those 8 glasses.
Only eat natural whole foods, cut out all high saturated high sodium preserved foods.
Eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies. Cut out excess sugar and simple carbs.
Do you have a juicer? Juice Celery , spinach, carrot and beets and drink daily (twice daily would be optimal)
Look for a green food supplement such as " Dr. Schulze s superfood" or "Better Than Greens". Take each morning before breakfast.
these basics are a must, ev. i take them for granted sometimes. simply rehydrating the body can take care of high BP. i assume people know these things and i am stupid for that. good post!
i cured my high blood pressure with the magnets from alex chiu. he sounds kooky, but i am telling you what they did for me. get the higher powered ones. cost is about $50. also, supplementing potassium would be good. the major meds fo BP, beta blockers in particular, work by retaining more potassium in the bloodstream, making it necessary to watch your potassium intake as it could raise levels to the danger point. i am glad you dont want to go that route. the supplements are cheap and wont cause you a heart attack if you miss a few doses. the magnets and potassium combined are sure to fix it. let us know. i am sure no one has to tell you to eat right and exercise, right?
google alexchui.com. he is in san francisco. he calls them live forever rings. wear them all the time till you get the effect and then at night is all it takes. be careful around tv and computer screens and magnetic tape and such! he also tells you how to make them yourself. i use hard drive magnets and they are stronger than his. save yourself the hassle and order them pronto, then you can experiment later. i have no affiliation with him whatsoever except to use his idea for free. they can be worn the wrong way and that is not good. he will tell you god is a number and that he knows what the number is. ignore that. get the rings. took me down forty points and raised my body temp 1-2 degrees, making me ineligible for wilsons thyroid t-3 treatments! thyroid is working better all the time due to good diet and staying away from fluoride!!!!!!!
It is cellulite with hard pea like bumps and definitely hurts when pinched. A fair amount is surely "fat", but I have been told that because fat goes to that area of my body, it would mean my lymph system needs work. But if I can't sweat, how do I accomplish much of anything?
thats the guy! personally, i think the foot braces would be better because i get my magnets near my head when i am sleeping and i am not sure what that will do over time. but i wore them 24/7 until my temp stayed up, and that was almost two years. anyway, take your stats and keep a log. i have not heard anyone else mention the benefits i have documented. i can vouch for some of the male benefits others mention in the testimonials as well.
I do not have high BP but my wife does. I will definitely look into this deeper this weekend. I have used magnetic insoles and I know for a fact that they work. I also remember reading that Owen uses a magnetic mattress, among other devices.
Okay, if you don't want to take pills, first let your doc know - don't just accept a prescription and then not fill it! Talk to your doc, and perhaps ask to be refered to a dietician.
In the meantime, try to eat a healthy, low fat diet. 5 portions of fruit and veggies a day. Exercise (British guidlines are 30 mins brisk walking 5 times a week - if you don't do much exercise, build up to this slowly). Cod liver Oil capsules may be of benefit (What is your cholesterol like?). Cut out alcohol and salt. Avoid stressful situations and learn coping mechanisms - perhaps tai chi?
I would also consider buying a blood pressure monitor and take your own BP every week or so, and keep a record. Also, although I know that you don't want to take pills, don't rule them out completely. I know lots of people on them and they seem to be getting on fine - at the end of the day, if it was me and it was a choice between my life and taking a pill, you gotta believe that I'd be at the pharmacy counter before you could say 'boo'!
Whatever you decide to do, I wish you every success and good health.
My uncle got off his high blood pressure meds from doing a raw vegan diet including lots of juicing. Very significantly lowered his BP. He did the Hallelujah Acres program (hacres.com) but I'm sure any will work.
Blood pressure is a systemic issue. Consider biofeedback to learn to contol your body. Warming your hands will lower your b/p. If you learn to warm your hands, you can learn to lower you b/p.
You need a guide to learn this technique. Look in your area.
Hi..The biofeedback that you talk about, what website do you recommend to learn more about this or where can you direct me to? From you reply it seems that you know something about it and this might be what I need..I am using alex chiu's rings and was thinking about getting the ones for the feet..Just remember that the + sign is up on the right hand and down on the left hand...Thanks..Noodj
Many, many thanks to you all.
I will go through all your helpful replies, and reply to same shortly. Does the heart good to know there are so many caring souls out there.
