Okay... this is a bit frustrating. I upped my water intake, drank a full gallon, I walked 3 miles yesterday and I had an extra lemonade total of 8 and still NO MORE WEIGHT loss for 3 days.
Question? Do you think it can be due to the fact that I am supposed to get my period on Wednesday? I mean there can't be any water retention can there? Help...getting frustrated. I know I should not be "scale watching" but, I could not help myself.
I am starting the Orange Juice tomorrow anyways as we have plans this weekend, but I will come off slowly and work out so hopefully, I will still have some more weight loss.

I have been there....twice! On both my MC's, and on day 6, weight loss ceased! It was wierd. But I am cronic about jumping on the scale during the MC, it's probably a bad habit. It could be the amount of syrup. I cut mine in half after day 6 on the first MC and experienced a dramatic difference, the weight was falling off. Could be, like you said, you are retaining a bit because of your impending period. EVeryone is different and our bodies are all trying to take care of us the best they can with what they have to work with.

It could be retention especially if your are about to start your period. Also, if you are exercising more than you used to (before the MC) then you are probably building muscle which is heavier than fat.
Stacy....also note that one or two days of drinking extra water and exercise won't get you where you want to be. It takes a sustained effort. You body needs time to react.
