Anxiety Definition - A state of uneasiness and apprehension, as about future uncertainties.
Anxiety is a battle that we fight. An area that once met intense inner stress can become an area that does not bring internal stress. Vigorously coping with Bible Doctrine can help us solve the problem associated with anxiety. All western people have a tendency to have a problem with anxiety. If we are not humbling ourselves by casting our anxieties on him then in our arrogance we believe that we can manage God's Plan. Its an arrogance that longs to be in control over what only God can be in control over. There are normal anxieties that we have to give concern to.
We are to have a policy of moderation that is a disincentive to fanaticism. We have to be aware in marriage that we are in a partnership. A successful marriage is a balance between intimacy and autonomy.
Proverbs 10:22- The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it.
The Lord adds no sorrow to the blessing that He gives us. The Bible endorses hard work; however, God still enriches as the policy of His Grace. We do not have to work to maintain the Divine Blessing. When the Lord gives an enriching blessing there is no anxiety associated with it. There are no worries associated with the prosperity that the Lord gives you. The supply train from heaven is always dependable. The carnal believer is even supplied for. If we have shelter and food then we ought to be content with that. We should not fret about the supply. Supplication is the requisition for supply.
Anxiety strikes the most gifted people. Satan will lobby for our minds with anxiety. We need to pin point our anxiety and then go to the Lord as a soldier in the field. We should make requests to the Lord for the needs that we have. We should also believe that the Lord will supply it. Public speaking is an example of a thing that can cause anxiety. The worries that we have are related to supply. We have to learn the secret of contentment. The secret is to have contentment in abounding and in difficulty. The paycheck that we get comes from God. God will enrich as a policy of Grace.
2 Corinthians 9:10 Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.
Phillipians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Christ never had an undo anxiety. Christ was never anxious about receiving something from God.
Principles of Unit Integrity:
1. Unit Integrity Imparts Spiritual Morale in the arena of adversity.
2. Unit Integrity Creates forward motion in for the Gospel.
3. The advancement of the Gospel increases the reputation of Jesus Christ among mankind.
4. The magnification of Jesus Christ results in faith in Jesus Christ among mankind.
5. The salvation of many enhances the glory of God's Grace. The Glory of God's grace is the vindication of Divine Integrity.
6. The vindication of Divine Integrity is the vanquishing of Satan's appeal which comes from the Glory of God's Grace. Ephesians 6
7. The legal appeal of Satan depends on the successful accusation of Divine's Integrity. Satan impugned the integrity of God in the Garden with his conversion with Eve. The legal appeal of Satan depends on the successful accusation of Divine Integrity. Satan undermined the Word of God in his conversation with the woman in the garden. Genesis 3:4-5
The unit integrity of the Church is an omen to the fallen angels of their demise. Esoteric harmony is inside of the soul of the believer. It is held together and knit together. This is where we have gratitude to God and a personal sense of destiny. Satan attacks Esoteric harmony of the believer. The absense of esoteric harmony means that morale is down. The angelic conflict is something in which negative momentum occurs. We have areas of special concern where the believer has normal concern. The believer cannot be self oriented if he is married. Inappropriate anxiety attacks right at the root esoteric harmony. When the soul is knit together then the soul has contentment and gratitude toward God. We understand many things about the Grace of God. At esoteric harmony in the believer is where Satan attacks. The solution to anxiety is faith rest and contenment. Anxiety attacks the root of the seven principles.
Satan attacks us with inappropriate anxiety.
Jeremiah 32:18a God who shows Grace to thousands: We can expect adversity. Our battle is not against flesh and blood. Peace is found inside the believer.
Satan attackes the peace within the believer and that way he destroys the unit integrity of the church. Anxiety is the tool that Satan uses to attack the peace of the church. We must constantly be moving forward and throwing unappropriate anxiety to the Lord. Anxiety happens to be the unique problem of western culture. As Paul was going through Galatia, he was forbidden to speak the Word of God is Asia Minor. In Acts 16:9 the man from Macedonia was urging Paul to come towards him in a dream that Paul had. The Spirit of Christ was moving the gospel westward. The man of the west of the man from Macedonia is still being helped today.
Anxiety that is connected to arrogance
There is an anxiety that is connected to arrogance. It is the desire to be in control of every situation. Anxiety may be motivating our life more than we every dreamed. The problem in America is the arrogance that desires to be in control. When we have undo anxiety we are not even living. There is an alternative to anxiety: The solution to anxiety is faith rest.
Steady faith rest is the answer to anxiety. Prayer is an alterative to anxiety but not the solution. Believing in prayer is the steady solution.
There is a peace that stands guard around the soul. Prayer and petition is the alternative and not the solution to anxiety. The cure for anxiety is belief in prayer. The double souled man should not imagine that he will receive anything from the Lord. The double souled man is described in the Book of James.
Hermann Hesse
Hermann Hesse (1877-1962) in 1927 wrote a book called "Stepping Wolf" that had a character that tried to deal with anxiety by engaging his sensual and irrational desires. Hesse did not think there was a solution to the problem of anxiety. The point of Stepping Wolf is the Western Man's anxiety. Wolf tried to engage all of his irrational lust patterns in order to alleviate his anxiety. Western man's anxiety can only be resolved by first believing in Christ and second studying a lot of Bible Doctrine during his entire life. Paul learned the secret of contentment. Western man has a deep sense of anxiety because he is separated from God and from other people.
Rollo May
Rallo May, in the Meaning of Anxiety, showed that men have tried to deal with their anxiety by acting on all of their suppressed lusts and desires. This reactive method only yields temporary relief. Western man’s anxiety must be solved by large amounts of Doctrinal intake. Western man has a deep sense of anxiety because they are isolated from God and other people. We are prohibited from looking into eastern mystics. Paul was prohibited from going into Asia Minor. We must look in application. The man from Macedonia was western man. Men are unsatisfied by the details of life. Only a relationship with God can fill in the gap in the soul. Anxiety is alleviated by the mystery Doctrine of the Church Age. Anxiety attacks the most strong in spirit and the most gifted people. The people that are the strongest in spirit and the richest in gifts. Anxiety is a soul sickness. Phillipians 4:6 attacks anxiety. Phillipians is help for western man. We are commanded to stop worrying about anything. We are told not to worry about anything. Rejoice always and be anxious never.
Phillipians 4:5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. (The lifestyle of moderation)
At the Home of Martha and Mary
Luke 10:38-42
As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. 39She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet listening to what he said. 40But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, "Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!"
41"Martha, Martha," the Lord answered, "you are worried and upset about many things, 42but only one thing is needed,. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her."
Anxiety is the proof that Satan is engaged in the battle for the hearts and minds of believers.
Anxiety is the dis-uniting of the soul. Anxiety cancels out esoteric harmony. There is not good morale where there is anxiety. The conflict of the angels is being lost if we are controlled by anxiety.
James 1:8 The double-minded man should not believe that he will receive anything from the Lord. Faith is the solution. Faith is the problem solving device.
Hostility rises on a tide of anxiety. Hostility is the enemy of exoteric harmony. The successful sex life of the marriage is when the peace of the soul flows over into the physical life. The same is true for partnerships that do not involve sex. Local assemblies need to have exoteric harmony. There needs to be esoteric harmony in each person. Unresolved anxiety which links with frustration will sometimes lead to violence against self and others. Undo anxiety is exactly the same as arrogance. We should humble ourselves by casting anxiety on the Lord. The man that is married must be concerned about the things in this life. We have got to be aware in marriage that we are in a partnership. There is a balance in marriage. There is a balance between intimacy and autonomy. Some people became fanatical in thinking that they should have no marital relationship. Marriage must be a wonderful blend of intimacy and autonomy
Fretting anxiety steals the manhood from men.
Arrogance longs to be in control over what only God can be in control over.
Anxiety gives rise to hostility. In our arrogance we think we can handle our anxiety instead of turning it over to the Lord.
We keep on making the supplication to the Lord in regards to our difficulty. We start by coping vigorously and then we go on to coping victoriously. The Macedonian man had a real problem with anxiety. All western folks have an issue with anxiety. Proverbs 10:22 The Lord will give us more than what we need. There is no distractions usually with what the Lord does for us. God still enriches as a policy of Grace. The blessings that the Lord bestows on us are the result of Grace. A need that arises in our life my cause anxiety. We have a fear that our needs may not be met and that is a worry. Sometimes it is good to write our needs down. We should make our requisitions out to God with gratitude. Gratitude is Grace orientation. We should attribute to God the aspects of giving. We cannot be thankful for something unless we are sure of the reception. We should believe that we have received the response to our requests.
Anxiety Disunites the Soul
Anxiety disunites the soul. The disuniting of the soul leads to the loss of esoteric harmony. Anxiety leads to the loss of internal harmony of the soul. Prayer is an alternative to worry. The solution is believing Bible Doctrine. Faith is the solution. The alternative to worry is found
Anxiety disunites the soul and cancels out esoteric harmony. James 1:8 Says the man with the disunited soul will not get anything from God.
Satan attacks the roots of esoteric harmony. Anxiety breeds hostility. Anxiety is the basis for much of the rage of people in this life. Violence comes from a sense of powerlessness. Undo Anxiety is the same as arrogance. If we keep the undo anxiety then we think that we can handle it. Some people will not trust a driver on a trip. We have to give concern to the married partnership. We have to be aware in marriage that we are in a partnership. Successful marriage is a balance between autonomy and other issues. Disrespecting the other parties autonomy will cause them to feel trapped. Anxiety yields to hostility. One flesh means sexual privileges.
Anxiety rides on a tide of hostility.
Exoteric harmony is the successful sex life of the married couple. The destruction of the passion in marriage comes when the internal harmony of the soul is destroyed. The forward progress of the Gospel requires exoteric harmony. Marriage has to be a wonderful blend in intimacy and autonomy. Worry in the realm of logistical provision is not legitimate. The Macedonian believers that were famous for the generosity were poor. The Corinthians were rich but were not generous. Among believers the more gifted and strong spirited had anxiety about what they needed. The one that gives generously will get even more. Out of the ground you shall earn your living with toil and worry. There is no labor and anxiety that comes with those that have blessing from the Lord. We that are in the colony of heaven are wondering if the supply line from heaven is going to make it. Anxiety will strike us like never before. We start by coping and then we go to intense inner stress.
Anxiety strikes the most gifted of believers.
Satan is engaged in trying to win the hearts and the souls of men
Anxiety is the cause of most divorces.
Satan lobbies for our mind and attention at times with anxiety.
Anxiety and Marriage
Unresolved anxiety is the cause of much of the rage. There is a sense of impotence that results in violence. Anxiety is arrogance. Undo anxiety is arrogance. We should humble ourselves before the mighty hand of God. If we keep the undo arrogance we think that we can manage God's Plan. People think if they rest then God will not be able to manage the plan. There is a normal anxious concern. We can manage when we are supposed to be concerned for our marriage. We have to give concern to the married partner. Anxiety and fanaticism are linked. The moderation is a disincentive to arrogance. The husband must be concerned with the things of this life. We have got to be aware in marriage that we are in a partnership. There is a balance in marriage.
Successful marriage is a balance between intimacy and autonomy.
The disrespect of the other persons autonomy is what destroys most marriages. Anxiety will yield to hostility. Adultery is often the overt and grotesque result of anxiety. When the Lord enriches you then there is no sorry associated with it. When the Lord gives an enriching blessing then there is no sorry with it. If a person has a love for money then he will have pains of anxiety and the worry about losing of that money. We are far from heaven in one sense. Paul speaks about the supply line from heaven to earth. Paul states that the supply train from heaven is reliable. There is an alpha and a beta supply. God provides what we need. We have needs beyond shelter and food. The supply from heaven will make it to us. Supplication is requisition for supply. We must learn that we have to pin point anxiety. We should not depend on human beings. The alternative is making the request from God. There is a battle that we are fighting. Its better to be fighting the battle than losing. An area that was once intense inner stress will then no longer be one.
Paul said that some where avoiding sex in marriage and becoming fanatical. 1st Corinthians 7:5. The one flesh principle does not say that there is only one person. There is actually two people.
1 Corinthians 7:5 Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
Simply put, there is 85% humanistic opinion with a mere 15% scripture added. The small amount of scripture is probably only added so he can call it "Christian".
Scripture stands alone with the Holy Spirit.
I agree, God appoints man to teach us. But, God doesn't provide us with seminary or theological teaching. God can tell man what to teach simply by His Holy Spirit.
Look at the early Christians in the book of Acts...did they go to seminary or have formal theological training? They simply allowed God to move through their lives and were obedient to the promptings and teachings of the Holy Spirit.

This is very subjective, can you offer anything objective (documentation) on how you derived these percentages? If you think about the principles laid forth you will see they do no violence to The Word of God.

Yes, you bring up a very excellent point, but let us consider Peter the simple fisherman, uneducated and used mightly of God. In 2 Pet 3:15,16 he writes: and regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you, as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.
Peter, who was with Jesus through His whole ministry, taught by Christ Himself daily for three years up to His crucifixtion and then was taught by Christ after His resurrection, had a hard time understanding the writtings of Paul. Paul on the other hand may have never seen Christ before His ascention, but met Him in His resurrected, ascended and glorified person on the road to Damascus, was a well educated man. Not only in the Scriptures but in the philosohpies and academia of the times. Paul was given the mystery of The Church Age which he wrote and taught about confounding the twelve, but in their humility they excepted Paul's message. God used a very educated man to preach the Gospel of Grace by the Holy Spirit, which Paul was obedient to except when he went to Jerusalem against the Holy Spirits orders (which is for another time).
To consider Theology as man made is to say the Word is only skin deep, that there are no deep meanings to The Bible or Christ, everything is superficial. I really don't think you have this in mind at all but we must be careful what we say since 99 out of 100 times it will be misconstruded, though we don't bend on "what is written".
Col 2:2 that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God's mystery, that is, Christ Himself,
Col 2:3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
There are hidden truths of wisdom and knowledge in The Bible, and God throught The Holy Spirit will show them to us if we are willing.
