For the past 2 months, every time I take a nap or go to sleep, I wake up with anywhere from moderate to SEVERE numbeness/tingling in my left arm, and sometimes my right as well. Sometimes both arms and hands are completely numb. It often takes 15 mins or so for the feeling to come back, and sometimes upwards of an hour or two to feel normal and relaxed again.
I have had a major problem with gas, bloat, belch, for the past 8 years of my life. Anything I eat; even fruit, vegetables, raw vegetable juice, steamed veggies, meat, no matter what it is, I start burping like a maniac 45 mins to 2 hours after I eat it. I used to think it was only carbs, but I went on a carb free diet, no good. Went on every version of the raw food diet imaginable, blood type diet, paleo diet, etc. My gas won't go away.
I have been able to live with the gas for the past 8 years, but I cannot live with this numbness/tingling in my left arm EVERY SINGLE time I wake up from a nap or a night of sleep. If I can go a whole night of sleeping all the way through without being woken up by it, I'm amazed. Yes, it's gotten so bad, that it wakes me up out of my sleep. Completely numb in one arm, and a lot of the time, both arms.
Usually when I get up and start walking around, I start burping like crazy. Even if I go to bed without having eaten in 6 hours, it still happens. I did a 3 day green juice fast and it still happened!
I'm posting here because I've run out of ideas. I went to the Emergency Room a month ago, when I woke up one night at 3 am and had trouble breathing, and my left arm was totally numb. My blood work came back fine, heart was great, blood pressure was excellent. I'm only 27 years old and I feel like I'm 77.
Anyone else have this happen, and cured it?
