This isn't a question, and it's not advice either. Just an experience. My husband and I saw a BioKinesiologist yesterday. He's been suffering from severe pains in his stomach, back, and itching skin. I've been suffering from all the classic candida symptoms (brain fog, bloating, food sensitivities, skin rashes, yeast infections, pain for no reason at all) etc. We both have h. pylori in our bodies. She told us that my husband's h. pylori level is 100 percent. Mine is 90. She said the bacteria (h. pylori) has settled into his bones, his spine, his stomach and even just below the skin, which causes intense itching. She gave him several supplements including a probiotic, vitamin E, a supplement of oregano oil, lemon balm other disinfecting herbs. She ordered us both to stop drinking coffee or having anything with caffiene. No more dairy. No more spicy food which is a real bummer because we both love spicy spicy food. She also said I am suffering from something called Syndrome X. I guess its basically a precursor to diabetes and hypoglycemia. Syndrome X is what is actually causing my food intolerances, bloating, headaches, PMS, painful menstruation, brain fog, yeast infections, etc. My body doesnt know how to regulate insulin. So she has me on a supplement to start regulating the insulin, along with a special diet. I'm also using a progesterone cream to balance my hormones, which are out of balance because of the insulin imbalance. I'm also taking probiotics, but not the same as she prescribed for my husband. She has me taking bifidus alone. His is a combo of different strains of flora. Just proves, I guess that the cure isnt always the same when 2 people share the same illness. She thinks that after taking the supplements and following the recommended diet for a couple months we will be ourselves again. She also told my husband that he's had the h. pylori for 4 years.
H. pylori is also the source of severe back pain he has. We thought it was from an old injury. Taking the supplements alone has made his pain dissapear. Pretty amazing stuff. She had us hold different vials of foods that we are sensitive too and immediately the pain returned, just from touching these foods inside of a glass container. This morning he threw away a carton of cream from the refridgerator, and just touching that made him have pain.
Anyhow, I think this info is useful to anyone who might think that just because a certain protocol worked for one
person, that it will also work for them.
I myself was convinced that I had candida, which in relation to the h. pylori, is a very minimal concern. I have a much worse case of h. pylori than i do candida. The practitioner told us that h. pylori is an epidemic. Most people have it, but very very few know it. We'll be going back to see her in 2 weeks so she can adjust our supplements if neeeded and check our progress. By the way, this was quite expensive. Over $400 dollars for treament and supplements. But to me, worth it, because immediately we feel improvement.
Also....she recommended 2 beverages to help beat my husbands caffiene addiction. Teeccino (a delicious coffee substitute) and kukuchia tea (japanese twig tea). Both drinks are alkalizing, healthy, balancing and delicious. You can find these in the health food store.
OK, this is the end of my long post. Just wanted to share with the class :)
Sorry if i bored any of you extensively.

No more distilled water for us. It was actually making our condition worse. She told us to get a PUR water purification system. She said she's never had anyone react poorly to water purified with the PUR filter. She said you cant trust spring water, even when its from a reputable source. Sometimes in the bottling process the water becomes contaminated with bacteria and other impurities. She said the only thing better than the PUR is a reverse osmosis system, which is out of our budget for now.
I have been using the PUR faucet mount system for years and am very pleased with it.
The replacement filters are on sale now. I got one pack of four. Click on the link below. I have ordered from this place several times. The service is fine and you get free shipping if you order $50.00 worth.
Do you took any antibiotice for long time before illness?
Or took Antacid before that illness?
How did your husband got that illness? I mean it was transmitted from you or happened separately? Because I think my husband suffer from the same like me and I think it was transmitted from me.
How do you got your diagosis? By taking gastric biopsy through endoscopy?
Emrald, the reason for my posting was that I mistakenly was treating my body for candida, thinking I did indeed have a problem with candida, when the real problem was H. pylori. I was trying to encourage people, to see a practitioner, instead of self diagnosing. H. pylori, like candida, exists in everyone's body, in the stomach, but when balance is lost, it grows out of control. I'm honestly not the person to ask to have every detail of h. pylori explained because I am not an expert. And, no, it wasn't transferred from my husband to me or vice versa. It's something we've each acquired on our own. We had it before we knew eachother. I'm may have played a role for me, but my husband has never had many antibiotics. Maybe poor diet was a factor. Not sure really. Hope this helps
I only know what i stated in my previous posts, and that it's a bacteria. Besides that, maybe someone else could explain it. As I said before, I'm not an expert. Just relating a personal experience. I'm researching it myself.
I've read about this bacteria in The Yeast Connection and The Woman. Here is some info from the book. "Dr. Barry Marshall a young Australian/American physician found that the bacterium Helicobacter pylori played a major role in gastritis and gastric ulcers. He noted that by taking a prescription of Flagyl, tetracycline and Pepto-Bismol, more than 80% of ulcer patients are cured."
" Dr.Marshalls discovery is exciting. The treatment program he outlined is helping many people. Yet since tetracycline and Flagyl encourage the growth of Candida Albicans in the digestive tract, adding Nystatin and a probiotic to the treatment program is an option worth considering."
Thank you for your answer.
May I ask another question?
What made you think you were suffering from Candidiasis?
It is the same like candida symptoms? Are you suffering from vaginitis too?
this is an excerpt from my original post:
I've been suffering from all the classic candida symptoms (brain fog, bloating, food sensitivities, skin rashes, yeast infections, pain for no reason at all) etc.
