I read your previous post regarding surgical removal of gb.
Hereunder, my query was responded by Andrea Mortiz in his forum, which is reproduced below and will help you a lot :
MY QUERY
The problem started with my wife with severe body pains at the back, legs and shoulders. There were some skin swollen eruptions (round shape red marks) at various places on the legs. The blood test showed cbc very high. Then a PA view of chest x-ray was done. It was revealed that her lymph nodes at the center of chest are enlarged and swollen. There are no swollen lymph nodes at the neck. She was in extreme trouble and could not sleep. Inspite of strong pain killers, there was no effect and then she was put to morphine. It relieved the pain. With such a situation, there are two-three possibilities. It could be sarcoidossis, T.B. or cancerous infection. The doctors wanted to open the chest to take a sample, but, my wife refused to go for surgery. From the blood work, the doctors were of the view that this seems to be sarcoidosis. So, she was put under the medication of steriods, as there are no other medicines to treat this condition. An x-ray was done again and there seems to be improvement. But, infection of the lymph nodes is still there. According to doctors 75 percent is recovered. Now, the steroids has been reduced from 7 tablets to 1 tablet. But, she still does not feel okay. She complains of body pains and fatigue and head turning. The doctor says that she has to continue using steroids medicine and there is no other way. She used to be on the borderline for sugar as it used to be 115-118. Now, this shot up to 280 with this attack and with steroids. So, she is taking sugar control pills. She does not have a gb as it was removed way back in 1990. She has chronic reflux problem and has been taking pills to control it for the last 10 years. She can not sleep without an elevated pillow and a tablet for ulcer at night, though, her stomach x-ray did not show any ulcer.
I will appreciate your expert advice on the above.
ANDREA MORTIZ'S RESPONSE
Your wife's problems began long before her gallbladder was removed and stones were formed in the bile ducts of her liver and gallbladder. Removing a gallbladder offers only temporary relief but then makes matters worse. Without a gallbladder the disgestive system is undersupplied with bile which is a key component of good digestion and absorption through the small intestine as well as elimination of waste from the large intestine. With drops of bile continously leaking out into the small instestine digestive enzymes remain unactivated and ineffective, and the hydrochloric acid saturated food passes more or less undigested into the lower intestines.
All this greatly overtaxes and congests the lymphatic sacks (cysterna chyli) under the belly button area (see description and illustration in my book The Aamzing Liver Cleanse, www.1stbooks.com, 1-888-280-7715). Hence these "giant lymph nodes" begin to swell up and turn edemic which causes a round extended, abdomen. The lymph sacks are drained by the thoracic duct that moves up from the middle part of the lower abdomen to toward the throat. It drains about 85-90% of the body's daily produced metabolic waste products and a daily 30 billion dead cells, apart from other intestinal waste products.
So when the lymph sacks get blocked up, the thoracic duct becomes congested, too. The side lymphatic ducts that drain into the thoracic duct are forced to backflush waste into the surrounding cell tissues. This causes major disruption in those places, plus abnormal immune activity in the lymph nodes that are supposed to detoxify the daily-generated waste material. Unable to process the waste the lymph nodes become enlarged and blocked and thus become a cause of suffocation for the surrounding tissues.
The skin lesions merely show that the body is attemtpting to relieve itself from some of the highly toxic degenerated cell material. The toxins try to escape via the skin but damage it in the process. Sarcoidodis is not a disease, it is a survival mechanism the body is forced to employ to save itself from more serious problems, such as cancer. Using steroids surely shuts down symptoms and but it also blocks the escape route for the toxins. This forces them to settle in the connective tissues, where suffocation cells forces them into malignancy (for details about the four causes of illness, see my book The Key to Health and Rejuvenation, www.1stbooks.com).
The drugs do nothing for the underlying lymph blockage and digestive problems. So underneath it all, are more serious survival mechanism is being formed (such as cancer). Her doctor's of course, won't take responsibility for that.
The course of action is as follows:
1. A series of colonic irrigation sessions to immediately ease up the lymphatic congestion and backing up of waste into the stomach, which triggers acid reflux.
2. A series of liver cleanses, to remove the thousands of stones clogging up her biliary network.
3. Taking oxbile as a substitute for the missing bile salts (as a result of gallbladder removal). Without it she cannot emulsify fats, which leads to severe toxcity and fat-soluble vitamin deficiency.
4. To restore proper lymph drainage she needs to eat a diet that is appropriate for her condition and body type (in her case "Pitta type")and avoid all animal products such a meat, fish, poultry, pork, cows milk, dairy products (except unsalted butter) and eggs. This will open the congested blood vessel walls and along with the liver flushes regulate blood sugar, as well as clear the most other complains. At the moment, the sugar cannot escape through the blood vessel walls due to large protein depsoits there. The brain runs out of glucose, causing multiple difficulties in the head and other parts of the body. All guidelines and details are provided in the above book The Key...
5. Applying other cleansing methods listed in the books, such as sipping hot, ionised water for tissue cleansing.
This may sound a lot, when it can save a person's life and restore health and vitality it is worth the effort.
Wow... thank you for the detailed post. I've always been skeptical of the willy nilly removal of organs. I guess I will do what I can to keep my "useless" gallbladder.
FYI, the first flush has reduced the severity of my gallbladder attacks, although I don't think it has completely eliminated it. In 2 weeks I will try my second flush and see how it goes. I also have a cold now, so it's hard to tell what is causing my problems. It could just be the cold. My main lingering symptom is the feeling that I have a ball lodged in my throat. My distended abdomen and accompanying pain seems to be gone.
I can't remember if it was you that I talked to about the 'plum pit' lodged in the throat feeling? Was it? That feeling is definitely connected to stagnant liver qi (energy)....it is an indication that you need to keep on a flushin'! It will be a good gauge....once that feeling in your throat is gone, you can be sure that your liver is well on it's way to recovery!
You may want to do another flush in a weeks time. (more acute problems can be dealt with with closer flushes)
Also...tincture of milk thistle and dandelion is VERY good for the liver. Tincture form (not pills) delivers the herbs straight to the liver!
It was not I that you talked to about the plum pit feeling, but I sure do have it. I will continue with the flushes until remedied. Thank you for your insight.
