> I am having gallstones attack after eating! What can I do to relieve pain?
I posted some very effective things you can do under the question, "can I suffer a gallstone attack while doing the liver gb cleanse. Here it is:
One thing I have found to relieve pain from any gallbladder attack is this:
you can massage the stones out of the bile ducts.
To do this you lie one your back and put some oil on your abdomen. First massage the left side pushing from the bottom of the
ribcage out toward the belly button.(this clears the small intestine) Do this all along the rib cage, starting at the bottom of the sternum, or the solar plexus area.
Next do the middle (from sternum to the belly button), then the other side. You will need to massage much more on the right side where the gallbladder is. This can painful, but just do as much as you can tolerate. Keep at it and use your hand as a wedge to push the stones out. Eventually you
will hear a gurgling or feel a little pop and the stone will have moved. You will know when the stone has moved when you can apply a
lot of pressure to the right side and there is a big improvment in the pain level, or no pain at all.
The next thing to do is to put some moist heat on it and rest. Don't eat anything for several hours, then start easy, with broth or juice and see how it goes. It works better if you can get someone else to do the massage because they will be able to go deaper into the abdomen, but make
sure you get them to cut their fingernails or it can be pretty painful!
It's important to try to start from as far under the rib cage as possible. I do this massage all the time and it works great. Don't give up, sometimes this can take awhile and be pretty
uncomfortable.
The other thing you can do during any gallbladder attack is to make yourself throw up. Keep drinking water and throwing up untill
all the food gets flushed out. This handles the pain instantly, but it's pretty unpleasant. Of course, anyone who has been lying in bed
screaming with an attack will know that even this unpleasantness is worth it if the pain goes away. My back sometimes will cramp
up after throwing up, and also my stomach, but moist heat and a friendly massage handles this quickly.
One last word of advice. There are some gallbladder herbs that one can get in Chinatown that flush the stones out. I've never had
any problems with these.
I would have to fax the prescription to anyone interested, as it's in Chinese. Feel free to e-mail me personally for this information.
i would like to obtain some info, about the herbs i can get in chinatown, to help relieve gallstone attacks, my g/f has terrible pain, and she loves to eat pizza, and the dairy products on the pizza cause terrible pain, so please e-mail me at VPR7380@aol.com to help me out with my g/f stones, and also what type of motion should i use to massage the gallstones, clock wise, and what part of my hand shoud i use to massage these out....

Subject: [gallstones] Re: stop the pain... forever!
A Tablespoon of olive oil is not a bad idea... assuming the bile
ducts are not completely clogged...
I have had some sucess with deep massage of the gb area...
I push up into the gb area and then release... Push an inch deeper
and then release... push an inch deeper and hold for 30 seconds...
I do this routine a few times and it often with help with the pain...
Does it dislodge something? I don't know... it may just help
decontract the muscules in this area.
Want to stop the pain forever?
After 8 Liver Flushes ... I went onto a system of daily/weekly
cleaning of the gb. It consists of the following:
Every other morning -- a little oj plus 1 TBSP Granulated Lecithin +
fish oils or flaxseed oil + bile salts.
I wait 20-30 minutes before eating anything else to give my gb chance
to errupt and clean out the stagnant bile.
I have little or no problem with my gb anymore... EXCEPT when I
insist on eating milk or frozen yogourt. When I eat a milk
product... not cheese... I often sense a problem.. but have not had
an attack now for almost a year in the new system.
I am 99% pain free... and I am convinced it comes from keeping my gb
cleaned out on a regular basis...
No... I am not gaining weight... The oils seem to help me burn the
fats and keep my weight quite trim. I was shocked to lose 3-4 pounds
when I started taking my lecithin and flaxseed/fish oils
I have had gllstone attacks a few times. The last time was in January. I was advised to get the gallblader removed, but am reluctant to do that. I am 71 years old. The doctor told me that I should not have another attack, as it may be fatal. What should I do? I am scared of the stone getting stuck if I do a flush. Is the casor oil/ginger pack equally good to get rid of the stones?
Thank you for your help.
P.S. Please use just the first half of my last name when you post it.

Subject: [gallstones] Another attack, and cod liver oil
Guess I'm not bulletproof....
It's been over a month since I've had an attack, and tonight I just
had another one. I was feeling pretty confident you know - taking my
milk thistle, flaxseed oil, granulated lecithin each day. Two liver
cleanses under my belt. Eating whatever I wanted, usually throwing in
a few doses of fiber (psyllium husks) for good measure daily. Plenty
of water, and two 16 oz glasses of organic apple juice daily. I was
CURED.. right?
NOT!
Got that old familiar feeling again after dinner... I've been eating
pretty poorly this past week (the week before my monthly cycle I have
cravings.. the typical ones, sweets, chocolate, salty stuff, pizza).
I think my body decided to remind me that it's still healing. Guess
who's going to be a little more aware of her diet in the future...
Looks like I'll have plans this weekend (best make sure I still have
enough olive oil and epson salts in the cupboard. Gotta buy a
grapefruit too...)
I discovered through trial and error that two tablespoons of cod
liver oil taken during an attack will stop my attacks within 15-30
minutes (tonight it was within 5 minutes). Has anyone else
experienced this as well? I figure the dense oil gives the gall
bladder a big push...

Progress, not perfection
A couple of times during attacks I used olive oil and it worked within minutes. The last time I tried it, it did not work. My mainstay now, even though I am pretty adamantly against heavy drugs is, get in a very hot tub, and take a demerol. I feel like I will never make the long term and keep my gb if I am in constant pain. I have done nine cleanses and am still having attacks when I eat bad foods. azdmarie
The fish oil is the precursor for PGE3 (prostaglandin 3) which is an anti inflamatory hormone. It stops the contractions which are caused by (omega6 plus sugar) those create PGE2 which is the hormone responsible for inflamation in the body, like contractions.
Fish oil with every meal has cleared my horrible acne, I use alpha lipoic acid too with the meals for breaking down transfats.
It is a miracle really.
Read Barry Sears, PhD, "the Omega Rx Zone" and it explains this process.

Subject: [gallstones] Re: cold liquids & Tip for the Day
Just joined the group and could not possibly read the 10,000 messages
in the archives; so, maybe am repeating something.
Hot liquids; particularly, in the morning keeps you regular. For
gallbladder problems involving calcified deposits and stones, try
drinking a cup of hot lemon juice first thing in the morning - it is
not that bad and can eventually bring very noticable relief to
gallstone sufferers. Second, and probably the most important, don't
sleep or even rest on your left side. Gallstones and other sludge in
the gallbladder slowly migrates; by simple gravity, to the output
portal which is heading left. With an object larger than the
opening, it will hang there under pressure until the "squeezing
action" of the gallbladder relaxes - that could be a couple hours to
maybe a length of time just short of suicide. The "left side"
syndrome coupled with late night meals is why many gallbladder
attacks show up after bedtime.
Good luck,
Stu

As you may have seen for my earlier posts, I have been suffering a great deal of pain after my 5th flush. Anyway, I have had to take regular pain killers and have still been spending my nights awake and in pain.
Until today, when I tried a coffee enema for the first time. It seemed a bit bizzare to me at first; but guess what? The pain went straight away. I don't know how long it will last, but it's a great deal better than the liver stressing pain killers that I have been taking. I will keep you posted.
When I have a gallbladder attack I drink some hot chamomile tea with powdered ginger. I read somewhere that ginger is really good for stomach ailments, also good for motion sickness as a substitute for Dramamine. The chamomile is an anti-inflammatory. I have also purchased liquid turmeric and marshmallow root, which are also anti-inflammatories, and squirt a dropperful of each in the tea. I usually sweeten this with Stevia or 100% maple syrup. After I drink this little concotion the pain subsides after about 5-10 minutes. In a pinch, though, almost any hot herbal tea without caffeine and the powdered ginger will suffice. If I start having attacks frequently again, that tells me it's time for another cleanse!

Subject: Re: [gallstones] Remedy
Reply-To: gallstones@yahoogroups.com
I have found relief from what appeared to be the beginning of a gallstone attack by taking anywhere from 4- 10 tablespoons of liquid chlorophyll. This seems to work best if I know I've eaten something that might be interferring with the flow of my bile, as liquid chlorophyll is suppose to help with that.
I have also found that any tea with peppermint in it helps, although I've heard that peppermint should be avoided by those with known Gallstones when NOT having an attack.
Andreas Moritz , author of the "Amazing Liver Cleanse" answered an e-mail of mine regarding questions I had on liver/gallbladder cleansing. Thought folks might find it helpful.
In my new edition of the liver cleanse book (it is about three times as large) I also recommend Gold Coin Grass for difficult cases. It is also important to do the colonics, particularly the one after the liver cleanse. I have had quite a few people pass more stones with the colonic than during the actual liver flush. This was due to spastic areas in the colon that blocked the release of the stones. So make sure to always finish off with a colonic within 3 days after the liver cleanse. Almost every person passes more stones this way. There are always a few stones that get trapped in the colon, even in healthy colons.
I will answer your questions in the sequence you have asked them.
1. Unless your liver and gallbladder are completely clean, old symptoms can return, not all of them and not as intense, but they can return. During a liver cleanse the liver can get rid of only those stones that are closest to the two main bile ducts that exit the liver. This allows more bile flow for a couple of days (and relieve symtoms, improve energy levles) but as the bile flows better also more stones from the rear parts of the liver begin moving toward these two main ducts. This once again blocks the bile flow and causes the same or similar symptoms. However, the liver as such begins to improve and begin to repair those damaged areas where bile ducts had been blocked before. To permanently get rid of chronic problems, such as backaches, both organs must be cleared of all stones. My partner, for example, passed a 2 1/2 inch calcified gallstone from her gallbladder during her 9th cleanse, folowed by 100 smaller but equally calcified ones. Several hours later, all the pain in her body which she suffered from for 30 years vanished completely and never returned.
2. I recommend to leave at least two weeks between cleanses to allow a maximum number of stones from the rear of the liver to move foward and also give the liver enough time and energy for repairing the damaged sites before having another 'surgery.' It would be a waste to cleanse any earlier than that. Once a month would be ideal.
3. The oil and juice cannot turn into stones, the body cannot do that, not even a laboratory. Analysis of the stones shows that they consist of 90 percent cholesterol crystals. The cholesterol in olive is minimal and not sufficient to form any clumpts. Besides it is soluble cholesterol that is unable to coagulate. The reason why the the liver can easily accomodate 4000-5000 stones becauuse of the huge biliary network. Instead of having bile occupying the space, bile stones begin to occupy that space. Of course, the bile ducts dilate because the stones are relatively large in comparison with the normal diametre of a smaller bile duct. This causes the typical enlargement of the liver among people with chronic health problems. In fact most people, even children, in the industrialised world have enlarged livers (which is now considered normal). If a person has 20,000 stones, he actually has a fatty, enlarged liver, completely white on the ultrasound picture.
Also, when the liver and gallbladder are cleared of all stones, no more stones are released. If stones were formed from olive oil, this would continue to be the case even after the liver is clean. But this isn't so. After my 12th cleanse I had no more stones. When I did a 13th cleanse 4 years later, I still had no stones, not suprising given my diet and lifestyle. And I had released over 3,500. All stones were packed with bacteria that produced a horrendous smell. Olive oil is bacteria-static and therefore does not support living bacteria. Bacteria only go where there is decaying organic matter. Anyone who says that olive oil turns into stones has no knowlege of basic biochemistry and digestive functions.
4. The liver loses its sluggishness when it is free from congestion. It fully repairs itself and does not require any external help to do that. How to avoid Gallstones from being formed again can be taken from this book. How to live a healthy lifestyle and eat balanced diet according to one's body type is dealt with in my book "The Key to Health and Rejuvenation." It is a very large and comprehensive book.
5. Fats make you sluggish for as long there is not suffucient bile available to handle the fat. Once the bile ducts are clear bile flow and bile production return to normal fat digestion also becomes easy again, provided that all the other factors that influence bile production, such as sleeping before 10 or 10:30 pm, drinking aenough water, avoiding stimulants, etc., clearing emotional stress, etc. are taken care of."
Thank you Scott for this! Your posting really gave me valuable insight into how the body works, and how to keep myself healthy. (After reading your message, I joined the group and my name reflects exactly how I feel-RESCUED!) I am putting the knowledge to work immediately! Best of health to you and yours!
