I wrote at least a year & a half ago regarding the debillitating problems that have to date now plagued me for the better part of 10 years. I live in Canada & when I wrote last I was at the "cusp" of identifying a tmj disorder & was referred to Dr. Teitler a tmj specialist here in Canada. Since then I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia & was on a round of intensive Guainesefin which unbeknownst to me was doing nothing for my pain. It seems this has been one long garish road of self-education. After the "FIBRO_LABEL", I inherently knew that this was not the root of my problems so I delved deeper. in the course of the next few months I found out that I had a very "Icky" bout of yeast & subsequently 2 critters had come to vacation in my body!! Trichuris & Diamoentiba Fragilis were my new best buds! These were unearthed to me by an excellent set of individuals in the Toronto Area called RED PAW. They are "the canucks" answer to "Great Smokies Labs" in the U.S. Prior to seeing them I had seen over 15 professional MD's about the wacked out symptoms that were multiplying year after year,getting seemingly worse. Amongst the web of symptoms are extreme myofacial pain particularly on the right side,a lump of tissue on the inside of my cheek which no dentist on the planet can distinguish,ringing in my ears,black floaters in my eye vision(which prompted an eye doctor to tell me I will lose all vision in my left eye in a year! A sound I can only equate to "crunching a bag of potato chips" in both of my ears intermittedly,unbearable pain in my right shoulder,cannot gain weight because everything I eat comes out undigested,bouts of constipation,allergies to everything on the planet! I can no longer eat sugar,yeast,wheat,anything acidic(which basically means I eat equivalent to a hamster),a grey film radiating out of my pores that my naturopath discovered is metal build up. On a bio-meridian machine I scored a 94 for mercury. It is useless to scrub my body because the grey skin just keeps flaking off. It has also penetrated my hair shaft I might add..So ladies & gents "there really IS a Lochness monster". But perhaps the most devastating in all this is the quality of sleep. I can't remember what it's like to dream because I average 4 hours a night if I'm lucky.My memory is non-existent. My naturopath has got some good angles! She's started me on DMSA but we just can't understand why it's not breaking down the metal. It seems my body & liver repel everything thrown at it. Before the holidays she came to the conclusion that I may have "polarity" issues. This diseased state has left me unable to work for 3 years now at the tender age of 28. Guys this disease is whittling away a previously vibrant human being & has stolen a girlfriend,sister,daughter,& friend from the group of people who love her so very much! Could the source of all this suffering be an undetected cavitation? I have run out of lonely avenues to travel & hope this is the last stop. I completely understand & respect & admire your dedication to medical Science & you can't quite comprehend just how grateful I would be if you could shed ANY light on this issue . Just hoping that one of you have come across a doctor in Toronto that is certified to handle this problem? Is there a cheaper method of identifying a cavitation other than a CAVITAT machine?Also I am due for an MRI in Feb. Is there any useful tips I can mention to the MRI specialist for detecting any cavitation clearer? Or any procedure to make them more visible? And lastly are there organizations or clinical studies that welcome guinea pigs in cavitation research? If there are, either here or in the states, I would sacrifice my body to research just for somebody,somewhere to tell me what is eating my body alive & for the mere chance that I could benefit other lonely sufferers who travel in my footsteps. Please let me know what you think....All your "personal hell" is welcome as I can safely say we've ALL BEEN THERE....
I read your post and felt very sad. This has been happening to me for 6 years and mine started when I had braces put on my teeth. The short of a long story is, I had and have a jaw infection, which no-one would believe me until I begged a dental surgeon to operate. The MRI and CT was negative, bone scan said yes but not sure. When they operated I had a gangrene jaw bone. I felt better after this but then the pain came back again in my jaw where my wisdom teeth were removed. It has been now 3 years and I can’t get any one in oz to repeat the surgery because scans say that it could be healing. I am so ill, with many allergies, weight loses, parasites, candida etc – you know the story. The oral surgeons told me it was my TMJ but splints etc do nothing. The pain is relieved by homeopathics for bacteria and fungus. I found a lot of relief from Vit “O” and herbal supps for infection. However, they are short acting. I am now going to the US for treatment- well thinking about it. I sent my OPG (dental xray) to a couple of specialist and they confirmed what I thought was going on in my mouth.
The cavitat machine has only just been available in Australia. There is only one machine and before I jet off to the US I am going to have this done. However, I have been told that this may not be definitive either. But, what the heck, try and find a cavitat machine near you and get your mouth checked out.

I couldn't sleep last night & decided I'm gonna copy that letter & send it to 10 of the top Maxillofacial Surgeons in Canada & see what comes of it! I really wish I could just pick up & go to the U.S to end this nightmare but because I haven't been able to work for the past 2 years I can't bear to ask my boyfriend to fund "another health-related adventure". It's an ever-revolving circle of hell my dear! But I refuse to give up! I can feel that we'll get our sanity back it justs takes precious time & patience & unfortunately so much dollar bills! In regards to the Cavitat Machine! Not sure if you are aware of this but Canada(in particular Toronto) houses one. The dentist is in Hamilton. I can dig up his name for you. I called him last week but almost fell off my chair when they quoted close to $1000 to have this done! That's pure absurdity! I am totally undecided about this considering if it doesn't show anything I think I'll go ballistic! Just curious as to what tests you've had done to date to try & diagnose this beast? You mentioned CT Scans which showed nothing. Did you have a MRI? On the Delphi Forums Chatboard they mention getting an MRI with galvonic liquid which apparently shows everything clearer. I'm just trying to get a handle on where I start? I guess a bone scan would be ideal. Did your regular family doc send you for that? My boyfriend keeps pestering me about applying for disability but without some concrete evidence to show them I'm afraid they'll just reject my application anyway. One really good maxillofacial surgeon here in Toronto is Dr.Claudio Tocchio. Apparently he is one of the best in all of Canada. He took a look at the lump in my mouth & said it was extra tissue. Then he scheduled me for an operation which was a cool $650 because it was deemed "Cosmetic Surgery"! After you got out the dead bone were you put on I.V? In Montreal there's a clinic that specializes in "Bone Regeneration" by using the patient's own Blood plasma platelets. So in short it's like they transfer blood into the diseased area to encourage regrowth. They claim it speeds up bone growth by 40%. Which doc did your surgery? Sorry I'm like a "deer in headlights" regarding all this stuff & am just trying to educate myself. Have you decided on any U.S Dr's you will approach? I think Dr. Wesley Shankland is probably an excellent authority but I don't think he does the actual operation himself. He's in Ohio.Which is not that far but question is do I want to spend more money if he's just gonna tell me something I already know? Maybe best to hit up a surgeon from the start! I feel like I'm caught in this web of uncertainty! However it scares the "living SH@%!!!!" out of me that the longer I leave this the more bone degenerates. Please keep me posted! I'm always here for moral support! The things that help me the most with the pain are SALMON OIL CAPS. Don't know why but I've learned not to question things & FLOW WITH IT!Also Melatonin is the only way I can get any ZZZZZ's. If you are in T.O. I know where to get Melatonin cheap! Have you ever tried the Hulda Clark PARASITE cleanse? It helped me tremendously. Also doing the "Clark" liver cleanse tends to help. Also probiotics are my saviour! I take Threelac & that at least keeps the yeast under control. I hope some of this helps & I truly pray that both of us gets better so we can continue with the rest of our lives!
I am Newcastle, Australia. We are way behind Canada and the US in terms of cavitations and dental problems. I don’t have the money either, but it’s really my last chance. All this started with my teeth and I am not going to give up on it. I haven’t worked for 6 years, but I am on the disability pension. I live with my brother and so don’t pay rent or bills. My Dr helped me apply for the disability pension under the disease of CFS even though he believes I have immune deficiency from dental problems.

Yeah, I am scared of that too. I don’t know how much the cavitat scan will be here, but I wanted to make sure I was making the right decision before heading to the US. I am getting worse each year, with more allergies, and I am so afraid I will end up living in a shack, in the country, in exile due to environmental allergies. When my jaw hurts my system shuts down and my allergies get worse, which is happening right now.
I was originally diagnosed form my OPG. Even I could see the big hole where my wisdom teeth were. This has reduced in size after the first surgery, but it is still there. The other tests I have had were multiple bone scans all suggesting that it could be an infection or healing bone. The general practitioner sent me for that after I asked him to. I had a gallium scan which showed an infection on the right side and that is when they put me on IV antibiotics. A gallium is similar to a bone scan in terms of the way it is performed. I think they inject a different isotope. However, the Specialist I was seeing “sucked” and said that the bone didn’t need debriding- that antibiotics are enough- what crap!! My hands were tied and I couldn’t change his mind. So yes the antibiotics helped but when they stopped the infection started up again. Mind you this treatment was 3 years after the necrosis was diagnosed. Even when the necrosis was operated on I was only on oral antibiotics for 3 days. I have been mismanaged right from the start.
Apparently MRI’s and CT scans only show cavitations or osteomyelitis if there is 40% bone loss. You may only have a small cavitation, but this is still leaching bacteria into your system and playing havoc on the immune system.
Blood tests for me weren’t helpful because I don’t have an elevated white cell count, nor do I have elevated inflammatory markers. I have never had these yet I had a dental abscess for 3 years, pneumonia, Mycoplasma, Giardia, salmonella and a necrotic jaw bone.
You mentioned a lump. I have two lumps over each lower wisdom tooth extraction. The oral surgeons here say it is muscle build up. My practitioner attended a seminar where a Dr from the US was giving a talk on cavitations etc and said that this is a definite sign of osteomyelitis (necrotic jaw bone).
Which doc did your surgery?
An oral surgeon, Dr Nigel Curtis. Only because my dentist tried and said that it was too difficult and he was the only one that my dentist thought would be accepting of this diagnosis. The oral surgeons here are very negative about this stuff. The last oral surgeon I went to said that my gums were pink and healthy so I don’t have an infection. But they were like that when I had the necrosis, so go figure. It is really frustrating!!!!! We don’t have any oral surgeons who are interested in this unless you are in an acute phase, so bad luck if you are in the chronic phase, like myself.
I tried Dr Shankland. He won’t look at your OPG unless you see him. A bit far for me to travel.
Thanks for the advice. I am also on threelac and have tried the other things you have mentioned. But because of this ongoing infection my body doesn’t detox and so herbs and that just overload my system. I have found PCA-rx really helpful, for not only initially getting rid of metals but for helping me detox daily chemicals I come in contact with.
I truly pray that both of us gets better so we can continue with the rest of our lives!

I think you should find a good oral surgeon or dentist that can look at your OPG. Get on the net, ring around and see if any are willing to do this.

Not sure if you're still actiive on this website. You mentioned a dentist in Hamilton that uses the cavitat scanner. Could you provide details for him? I've come across an experienced dentist in the UK that works with the scanner, but I'm not able to get over there.
I felt so sad reading your post.... I have been thinking about you..and wondering if you've been improving..
As you know... I was there too..... 6 months in my bed sobbing because I could see..I couldnt talk to anyone without visably shaking..insomina..and emotional outburts... the list goes on..and on...
Things really started to change after 2 things.... One was Dr. Shulzes bowel cleanse.... that really sucks out all the nasties in your body... and the other was finishing my Amalgam removal.... also I added b-vitamins and zinc from Diane....that made a huge difference...
The liver flushes every 2 weeks are amazing... they really help... but only after my Dr. Schulze bowel cleanse....
Have you thought about seeing Diane's Medical Intuitive friend? I saw her and it was really great..she was able to pin point a couple things and also gave me a lot of emotional and spiritual stuff to work with.....
I dont know anything about cavations... I really wish that I did....
