I am speaking of myself as well!
I was thinking....my weight/size bother me more than just about ANYTHING else. Everyday I am squeezing myself into clothes that no longer fit(and these were the "fat" clothes I got when I first started gaining weight!) and I am just plain miserable!
I hate the way I look now!
So I want to do something about it. I think fasting will provide the quickest results. I plan on mostly water with chicken both when I sit down w/my family at meals.
I usually am all psyched about fasting/dieting but then the reality of how hard it is sets in and I give up quickly. Well that has only gotten me fatter and fatter.
Who is TOTALLY with me starting tom. morning? Who wants to be considerably slimmer in a few weeks? WE CAN DO THIS!

I have been gaining weight lately too. I am all up for starting with you, starting tomrorow. Hopefully we can encourage each other through out this fast. How did today go for you? Again, I will join in with you tomorrow. Best to you.
Today was awful. I need to break these destructive habits of mine!
I WILL start tom. morning and will go at least 7 days. After that I will continue the weight loss w/a low carb diet (Lean meats and veggies only).
If I could only get this thru my head...."I CAN control my weight---It's totally up to me!".

i am starting 2morrow a water fasting with maybe just some pollen and wheat grass..not quite sure yet about this last..
i am 32 years old, wishing to feel gooood again, have at least 10kgs to loose and so plan to keep on fasting for at least 21 days!
i did one 17 days onec eand i felt great!

Have you thought about doing the Master Cleanser - Lemonade Diet ? It seems easier than water fasting because you do get some calories. Average weight loss seems to be around 1 lb/day on MC.
yes the MC cleanse is very good too. A water fast is difficult, you detox VERY quickly. Juice fast are nice you get a few calories but nothing that will really prevent you from losing wieght.
i'm a juicer/master cleanser. it's great. the water fasts can be very detrimental to ones health ESPECIALLY if you are overweight.
I would only suggest using water fasts after cleansing your body through healthier means. The lemonade is delicious and the juice...while the juicing can get messy and cleanup takes a while...you get such a variety, it's SO hard to get bored with a juice fast, I find them extremely fun and I'm only 19 years old.
I'm starting another MC tomorrow, its a great way to get yourself back on track mentally, physically, and spiritually.
I seriously look down on water fasting for overweight people. I was overweight and I started juicing and lost about 50 lbs. our bodies are too toxic at that point to take well to water fasting, thats the point of detox.

I had my baby in September and I gained too much weight. I really want to join this fast with you! I need to lose 30 more pounds! I think it would be easier to have some support.
I want to fast for 28 days. Feb 25th- March 24th I've got spring break next month (march 25th) and for some reason I just keep eating junk food! I'm a size 12 ( 5'10 170 lbs) although people say I look like a size 10 because I am tall and have a natural hourglass figure and short torso. I bought a whole bunch of great clothes in a size 10 and I think that will be the best size for me. My hips can only go down probably 2-3 more inches and then it's all bones.
I have such a weird body type.
I just ened to get rid of this 1.5 'roll' of fat on my lower tummy and a bit in my inner thighs, that's whats keeping me from that size 10!!
I feel so close yet so far!!
I think I can do this in 28 days, I want to lose about 20 lbs or whatever gets me nicely into that size 10.

Hey everyone! I started my fast on Monday and am now on day five. Doing a juice fast, but for some reason today all I seem to want is water. (shrugs) I'm going to listen to body better this time and kind of let it lead the way. I'm 5 ft 4" and started this fast at 192lbs!!! This morning I weighed in at 184lbs! YAY!
I have PCOS and am hoping that along with the emotional healing I'm going to do, I will have definate health benefits and maybe kick this thing in the butt!! Of all the research I've done on PCOS, weight loss seems to be the only real cure (diet and exercise)
So count me in, I'm pretty sure I'm in this for the long haul :)
