Please, know that you are not alone and many women keep this a secret part of their lives. However you don't have to. There are many support groups for women who have been affected by abortion. Consider this one of them.
Why do you think you decided to share with us? Was anything imparticular provoking you to do so?
I had an abortion two weeks ago and i too chose not to tell anyone other than my partner and one close friend. I have to say that confiding in my friend was the best decision i ever made as it has allowed me to discuss my feelings and overcome any guilt. Although i will never reveal my secret to anyone else, and i think that each persons reasons for non disclosure are personal, i would advise you to confide in somebody and talk about your abortion openly with a trusted person. I am sure that this will help you enormously, probably more than than you realised it ever would. I am so glad that i confided in somebody and i hope you find the strengh to do this soon.
