Hi everyone. I have been lazy about my health the last few months. Back on pain meds, flirting with depression, eczema and acne acting up again (I'm 38 yr old female). I've regained weight, and I'm ready to turn this around and retake control.
I've loaded up on apples, and started juicing them today. Also eating lots of raw greens for the last few days. Cutting out all meat, cheese and refined starches/sugars as of tonight. I've examined my schedule and I can easily fit the flush into Monday night as I don't have to go anywhere Tuesday until around 2PM, and that's just to the bus stop (hubby is very supportive, and will go in late to work that day so he can take our daughter to school.)
I'm really looking forward to getting back on track! I want to go straight into an MC from the flush, and may add juice fasting later. My treadmill needs to be dusted off and I'm going to start exercising tomorrow. I've been having major headaches, and taking medicine hasn't knocked them out. So, I've been sleeping a lot, and pretty much have just been watching life pass me by. Well, I'm back, and it's gonna be a fun ride!

i remember you really well from about a year ago...I was a big juice faster back then and im just on day 4 of a new Autumn fast, I hope to go a significant distance this time round once more. Im already feeling clean and sparkly from fasting and am really glad to see you back with simular goals, keep in touch Im a regular poster again !! Emma.
i just read your msg after i posted my most recent one and i'm pretty much in the same boat as you. i'm planning on flushing on monday and starting a juice fast tuesday as i also have been neglecting my health over the last month. i too wrestle with depression, which i'm sure comes down to my bad diet as when i'm fasting or eating mainly raw i certainly feel on top of the world.
i feel at the moment like i'm at the bottom of a pit trying desperately to claw my way out, i consider the only way to do this for me is to fast...i feel 110% better when i fast. anyway it'd be nice to keep track of each other during our fasting experiences, do you fancy buddying up?
Sure, we can buddy up. I'll be posting at least once per day. There's someone else on the LF forum that is flushing Monday. Looks like the toilets will be busy Tuesday morning!!
I'm not sure how to count days, but I'm going to do liquids only starting Monday a.m., and will continue for the rest of the month. Not sure how long I'll be going, but need to get some serious cleansing done before I eat solids again!
