I am a 46 yr old woman. I have always done cleanses and been avid about healthy nutrition. About 8 wks ago I noticed a small dark freckle on my arm and applied black salve to it. The freckle reacted immediately with the bloodroot based salve and in a matter of a few days a lump pushed it's way out. It was the size and shape of a large marshmellow connected by white fiberous roots, solid, draining creamy bloody material and itched like crazy. After the roots disolved and it fell out the was an ulcerated area on my arm, another smaller cluster came out from the same spot. I am now completely covered with them; head to foot, front and back. I have lost more than 10 lbs and weigh 110. I have gone twice to Vanderbilts' dermatology center in TN. to be seen by a panel of Drs but they have no idea at all. A biopsey was done but gave no conclusive results. Has anyone seen this? Can you help me?
Ugh..cannot get the photo to come here..it is very different from yours. I titled it jerus1 and also jerus right arm..maybe you can find them. I just need a name, I am looking through google and praying. I appreciate you.
Wow... I just posted about my daughter on this post (the 19 mo old). Hers is a little bit raised. Yours is definitely much higher and protrudes out. I can definitely relate with you with the frustration with doctors. Maybe try a holistic dr or go to a different dermalogist center. Try googling and click on the "images" on google for raised bumps so maybe you will find a name for whatever you have.
Hi, I was wondering how your daughter is doing. They never found out what I have. I am thankful that I have Jesus in my life and he is the true healer no matter what tool a person uses. I have stood on by his wounds I was healed and by his wounds I am healed. I had to keep my eyes on the word of God or I would have sunk in the water. I pray your daughter is doing better. I pray she did not have the excrusiating pain, burning, and itching that I have had. I am at the end of the war and am recovered except for a couple of small ones that are continuing to go away. Thank you again for answering my plea for help.
Pyoderma gangrenosum is an uncommon cause of skin ulceration. It may affect any part of the skin, but the lower legs are the most common site. It is thought to be an autoimmune disorder.
Pyoderma gangrenosum usually starts quite suddenly, often at the site of a minor injury. It may start as a small pustule, red bump or blood-blister. The skin then breaks down resulting in an ulcer. The ulcer can deepen and widen rapidly. Characteristically, the edge of the ulcer is purple and undermined as it enlarges. It is usually very painful. Several ulcers may develop at the same time.
Untreated, the ulcers may continue to enlarge, persist unchanged or may slowly heal. Treatment is usually successful in arresting the process, but complete healing may take months.
Superficial bullous pyoderma gangrenosum
Typical ulcerated pyoderma gangrenosum
Pyoderma gangrenosum often affects a person with an underlying internal disease such as:
Inflammatory bowel diseases (ulcerative colitis and Crohn disease)
Thanks for your prayers. I am recovered except for a couple of small ones. I'm thankful that Jesus is the true healer. I stood on by his wounds I was healed and by his wounds I am healed. The doctors never did come to a conclusion as to what it was. Thanks again for the web site.
Thanks for your prayers. I am recovered except for two small ones that are healing. The doctors never did discover what it was. I am glad that Jesus is the true healer. I kept standing on by his wounds I was healed and by his wounds I am healed. Thanks again for your prayers.
Thanks for the advice you supplied. I have been on systemic enzymes for a long time. I just wanted to let you know that I have recovered with only two small ones continuing to heal. The doctors never did discover what it was. I am thankful that no matter what tool you use that Jesus is the true healer because man could not help me with this problem. Thanks again for your imput.
A few years ago I read about Indian Herb ( Andreas Moritz ) and used that on a flat spot and it lifted out too. I tried some other spots on my body, but did not have the same result.
In his book he says Bloodroot Paste, Indian Herb and Healing Formula accomplish basically the same. Indian Herb being the weakest. Though it has zinc chloride in it and you should not get it on healthy skin. Bloodroot Paste does not contain the zinc.
These products work for malignant and non-malignant moles etc.
The Healing Formula can be taken internally.
At that time I also used the Indian Herb internally.
People were writing about another product, for some reason I thought it started with a "c", but it was hard to find. About that product it said it would only react when a spot was malignant and it would get all the roots out too.
There is a lot of information on the bloodroot forum. I just read that they say it has zinc in it too. You might find a lot of info there.
Just wanted to let you know I am recovered except for a couple that is continuing to heal. The doctors never discovered what it was. I am greatful that no matter what tools a person used that Jesus is the healer. Man could not help me with all the vast knowledge they have. I believe God pulled out what I still believe is cancer to save my lift. Jesus had already killed the roots and seeds, which kept there biopsies for showing up anything. The blood tests were all perfect. Thanks again for answering my plea.
Thanks for all your information you gave in the past. I just wanted to let you know I am recovered except for two small ones that continue to heal. I am glad Jesus is the true healer no matter what tools you use. Man, with all there vast knowledge, could not offer me anything. They never found out what it was. All blood tests were normal. Thanks again.
Now, that you are healed, can you tell me, what are you doing to keep the wounds from leaving scars? I have a whole in my arm from using bloodroot, and I like to try and heal this wound without leaving a scar.
