After the last ES, I drink lots of water and wait for the storm to pass. When I feel hungry - and I wait until then (2 - 3 hours later, usually) - I drink freshly juiced vegetables. About an hour later, I have chopped veggies (no salad dressing) or fruit. Eating a muskmelon or something similar is excellent, as all that fruit finishes the job of cleaning you out and getting rid of lingering stones that the ES weren't able to dislodge. Plus, it helps to soothe the stomach. Later in the evening, I have a vegan meal.
I've learned the hard way, being a meat eater and having intense meat cravings in the evening of the day the stones come out, to NOT eat meat. No thanks. You might get a spontaneous purge of a few more stones, but with intense cramps, gas, and intestinal distress.
Even on day two, the day after the stones have come out, I've learned to keep it to meat tasting and not meat chugging. A little meat is ok. A lot will hurt (at least me, anyways).
On day three, two days after the stones have come out, I can eat pretty much whatever I like.
The info about food combining, above, is good. No meats with starches. Fruits alone. Meat with vegetables, and starches with vegetables, any time. I've found that I never get indigestion as long as I stick to that, whether flushing or not.
It also helps, the day of the flush, to keep to a liquid diet, if you count floaters. Easier to see them with all the fecal matter already gone.
Hope this helps.
