my eyes are hazel-blue, depending on other factors. my wife must be double-alleled brown because all three kids have brown eyes(not impossible either way, but less probable). they are all single-alleled and carry the gene for my eyes, which will show up in my grandchildren. they could even marry another person who has brown eyes but carries a blue gene as well, and they could have a blue-eyed baby. in times past, i bet many a blue-eyed best friend took a real pounding for being too close to such a phenomenon.
Most people think I have brown eyes, but the irises are bordered by a gray blue color that then progesses into a medium green color and then brown surrounds the pupil.

Perhaps that makes me hazel?
Endquote.
It might make you Hazel in non-Iridologist terms, but in the research which has culminated in the field called Iridology, there are only 2 basic eye colors of the iris underneath it all, and those are Blue and Brown.
Your mention of the medium green color was the clincher- There are circumstances where a naturally-brown Iris might look gray-blue around the far perimeter and that could be due to arcus or salt, but the medium green you describe it progressing into tells the tale- Your Iris must be blue under that. If it were not, you would have a brown Iris all the way to the perimeter, and not green.
The brown surrounding the pupil indicates that your physical system, particularly the large intestine, would benefit from persistent gentle cleansing and/or lots of green juice-foods.
The study of Iridology is indeed a kick :), and is *extremely* effective in determining the place of origin of malfunctions in the body.
I learned it from Dr. Bernard Jensen , while he was still alive.
That is just facinating. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain all that to me.
I also appreciate the advice regarding the large intestine and what to do for it.
I am still just amazed. All my life, even as a very small child before attending school it was thought that my eyes were brown. And, coincidently (there are no coincidences) I have had poor health most of my life. Not sick really, but not really well either.
Again, thank you for helping to relieve me of some ignorance. :)
I think I shall remain amazed about this for some time to come.
I like that name :). I haven't decided for sure whether I will use Iodine or not, but I am *really* glad to see this forum, and glad also that someone else who is into Iridology is on it too..
I inquired about getting Lugol's today, but they couldn't do it.
Next, I'll check with a chem supplier who might have it.
We'll see. I don't know if I'll go ahead with it or not yet. Iodine can be problematic, as I understand it, with Adrenal Exhaustion or certain kinds of Thyroid trouble.
Either way, I will certainly keep monitoring this forum.
Hey if you're taking the Iodine, whether by paint or internal, how about posting any Iris changes you may experience as as you go along?? That will tell me some of what I need to know.
I too am glad to see another Iridology person on here.
