I think you may have already read my description of what my iris looked like when I started doing iodine. I posted under the user #48124. I just wasn't sure what I was seeing. I'm hoping it was just showing me detoxing the bad halogens. A few iridologists thought it sounded like Iodine poisoning and my liver just cleaned out the remaining toxins after I stopped using Lugols. (refreshed 48124)

Hey good to see you here talking about iridology. I did just the opposite, I went from having grayish eyes as a child to having bright blue eyes as an adult. Thank goodness. I did want to chat with someone who may have a clue...I started taking iodine over a month ago and I started getting murky looking eyes...then later it became acid eye (yellow overcast, making my eyes look greener) and then all the acids flushed out and now they are blue again. Does that sound like a detox to you? I only know the basics of reading the iris. 48124 EDIT: I would like to add that the (yellow overcast was actually more of a beige/yellow overcast) to be more exact.
My apologies that I did not see your post much, much sooner.
Yes, you do have the right of it- The Acid cast, the transition to murky/yellow-mustard/greenish, (Yes it does sound exactly like a detox to me), and the final (Really good news! :)) return to blue.
Congratulations, now you have solid data to help others with.
Thank you very much for posting your results :)
How long would you say the whole process took?
Have you continued with the Iodine, or did you stop it?
lol, I did the same thing...I just now saw this post. Thanks for responding.
I had a rough start with Iodine and did not understand what was happening. I watched my eyes to try to get some idea of what iodine was doing to me. I have to admit in the beginning I was fearful with all the talk of "poison" that perhaps what I was seeing was indeed something negative.
I stopped Lugol's for a few days and my symptoms cleared up but not the murky eye. I started back up taking Lugols and it took about a month for my eyes to clear and turn blue again. I would assume that to mean that it was clearing something out that was poison to my system (bad halogens). If it had been the iodine that was poison, my eyes should still show the murkiness since I was able to up my dosage to 100 mg.
These days I'm finished using Lugols for now. I feel that it did the job it was suppose to do and now I'm using kelp and staying alkaline. I can always go back to Lugols if I feel a need to flush out more bad halogens. I'm doing very well at this time. I haven't read anywhere how you have been in a while, I pray everything is well with you also. :)
I just saw your post too..
I do believe this is the longest conversation I've ever had :).
Congratulations on your great news!!!
And- thank you so much for posting it, Refreshed- This thread of you and me will sit here, just quietly helping those who need the information, for years into the future- that feels so good to me to know :).

Sounds perfect to me :).
Thank you for your good wishes and prayers as well, Refreshed.. All very much appreciated.
My Faith carries me :), and my research is continuing. I'm having quite a time moving that acid out.. My UpH was at 5.5 when I started.
I have learned from your experience. Thank you sincerely for posting it-
