I am 22 year old female who was diagnosed with Costochondritis last august. at the time I had just moved to Missouri and thought it was because of me not being used to the humidity only to find out I had bronchitis and costochondritis. It was scary for me because I was alone in a state where I knew no one and I constantly felt like I was having a heart attack. I went to the emergrancy room so many times positive that they were forgetting something.
I moved back to California after my internship and I still have costochondritis. I have it everyday. Part of which I think is because I have cerebral palsy and walk with crutches and use so much of my upper body strength on a daily basis. My doctor put me on well three kinds of meds if you count the sleeping pills I take to help me sleep at night. but the Nipoxin has stopped working so I mostly take Viccedin. but such is the case tonight I took it and it hasn't worked and I am having severe pain.
I was glad to find that there are other people out there that are sort of going through what I am. exspecially seeing as most people think I am crazy,
I was just wondering a few things: does your pain seem to be different almost every time? I swear every time it starts its a different kind of pain. Thats why I always worry and run to the ER so many times.
Also for me it seems to get worse when I am riding in the car and in the movie theatre......weird huh?
anyways thanks for listening its 3:30 in the morning and I feel as if I am having a heart attack, I want to sleep but the pain is so bad.
There is a pain relief method related to accupuncture but you use yor fingers instead as you focus on the issue. It has a very high success rate with relieveing this type of pain. It's called EFT. Check it out.
Inflammation is key. After suffering from this for many years, and subsequently curing myself, I know deep in my heart that I had a severe inflammation issue, possibly fibromyalgia. I've never been diagnosed with this but it all makes sense.
My costo flaired during years I had a poor diet, and I was always puffy. As soon as I started on a series of cleanses and eating habits and exercise, the costo went away.
The first thing I did was a liver cleanse. Within two of these my costo started to disappear. Why? I have no idea, but I think the liver cleanse kick started some immunity issues. I also started to work on my colon health. I felt that the best way was to clear all the elimination tracks so my body could start to battle my other issues by it self. And this appeared to work.
When I travel I puff up. I don't know if it's the altitude in the plane, or all the restaurant food I eat, but sure enough, I always end up with a bout of costo after traveling. And I can visably see my ankles slightly swollen, and then the costo flairs.
Cleanse. It's the best advice I can give. If I had it to do all over again, this is the order of cleanses I would do:
Colon Cleanse (for a couple of weeks)
Kidney cleanse
Liver Flush
Parasite Cleanse (just in case)
For Colon I use Oxypowder. It literally melts fecal tissue from your intestines. It doesn't work for everyone, but for those it does, it's awesome.
Kidney cleanse, I use Barefoots herbal tonic. He has a forum here and a link to his products. Or you can eat tons of Watermelon or drink parsley tea.
Liver Flush forum will give you all the recipes you need on Curezone.
Parasite cleanse, I use Humaworm (he has a forum). Without a doubt the easiest and highest integrity of product out there.
And if you can, I would get your body moving to the best of your ability. Take care not to twist your torso as much as possible. I do know that if I do this for any length of time my costo can flair up again. I think that it unfortunately never truly goes away. But it is definitely caused by some other source in your body. You need to find that root cause and fight it aggresively.
yeah my first experience or attack or whatever one would call it was on an airplane. I thought I was going to die so I talked to the guy sitting next to me the entire time with hope that if I killed over he would notice. I have not flown since and am kind of scared to.
