Hey everyone, just wanted to share some updates...
My background: Have been oil swishing for about a month once a day. I use coconut oil.
I have a tooth with a gold crown that was put on about 20 years ago. The tooth was mostly filled with a filling (not much of the tooth enamel was left) and it covered up a root canal.
I had all my metal fillings removed except for this one tooth (just because it didn't seem like there was a natural, straightforward procedure). It never really bothered me. I did notice the base near the gum looked a little dark (but not like an infection or anything).
Well, after a month of oil pulling the crown and tooth fell off while I was eating nuts. I'm pleased with this as I think this tooth had/was generating toxins...
I do believe that the oil pulling had a major impact into rejecting this crown/tooth from my body -- so I am glad I did the oil pulling.
I see a little tooth enamel near the gum and right now it looks a little black in the tooth hole area(this only happened an hour ago). I don't feel any pain or sensitivity.
My plan:
I plan to see a wholistic dentist in the area to get some input. I want to hopefully re-mineralize something out of this mostly empty spot. I will oil pull and try to find some healthy teeth-cleaning, natural formulas to continue to strengthen the gums and teeth. I will continue to eat a non-processed, whole foods diet.
Question:
Any other advice so I don't have any problems in this empty spot in my mouth now? I don't want my teeth to start shifting because of the space (the tooth is a molar near the back. I'm about 40 years old). I hope I won't feel any sensitivity in this empty spot either now that there's an exposed area.
Thank you!
P.S.
I did some searching and ran across the below threads about OP and Dental health...lots of info to go through but I thought I'd ask my specific questions above.
Thanks, Scott. I will research those 2 methods (and thanks for imbedding the links in your message).
So far, so good. No pain, etc.
I'll probably take a pic of the gold crown and post a pic - I just need to get a camera or find a USB cable. At first I didn't want to because it looks very odd - well scary -- a gold crown filled with black stuff (I guess mercury?).
Also, I probably will take a pic of the gap (with very little tooth enamel that is blackened in color - not pretty!). So something to work on ("fixing" that damaged space)...
It was interesting about the crowned tooth and its location under my cheek. I rarely get acne but when my face broke out a little, the worst part was over where the crown was...
