I've noticed twice recently that after I've eaten roasted new potatoes (made with Virgine Olive Oil "" href="/c/?/abbreviations.asp">EVOO , Sea Salt & black pepper), I have digestion issues. The next day my stomach aches & feels puffy, and I feel like I have to burp and can't. The only way to alleviate the stomach pain is by lying down. The pain is also diminshed after eating meals. It goes away after a day - 1 1/2 days, but it's very uncomfortable. I'm a healthy eater, not overweight & I exercise daily, so having this kind of problem baffles and annoys me.
Has anyone else heard of potatoes causing this kind of problem?
No, I haven't had problems with those. I wonder if the problem, though, is that I eat too many of the potatoes. I don't usually "stuff" myself when I eat, but these little guys are so good, that I keep "picking" on them as I'm putting the remainder away for leftovers. I imagine eating too much (of anything) could cause this problem, too.

I'd hate to think I'll have to give up one of my favorite (and healthy, no less!) foods. It's not fair. Junk food, the rare times I eat it, does give me digestion issues. That's just nor right. :(
