This cleanse, for some reason, I have
found myself preoccupied with making
some changes which include dietary ones.
I have been finding mouth-watering recipes
online for raw and vegetarian dishes. I
also found more than a few places to
sign up for free *raw* newsletters. I had
an extra email account so am using it so
I can just go there and read as much as
I would like.
Anyway, I thought I would share the links
in case this appeals to anyone else.
I just used my dehydrator for the first time. I wanted to try something simple so I dehydrated some 'nanners. On a lark I added a little powdered cinamon before drying and man oh man they are absolutly delicious!!
The bonus was also this wonderful banana and cinamon aroma in the kitchen
That sounds great...I may have to put one of those
on a wish list since with the cost of food going
up, dehydration would stretch my grocery $$ over
the long run.
Having recipes delivered to my mail box I am hoping
will have a positive effect of reminding me I have
simple options to fast food or being bored by my
own cooking...ggg...
One of my favourite dehydrator recipes is onion bread. I mince up about 6 big onions (in a blender to make a gooey mess!) and mix into a cup of ground sunflower seeds and 2 cups of ground flax seeds (guessed at measurements but should make a sticky dough). I also add olives and different herbs occasionally. Then shape into flattened balls and dehydrate for about 8 hours or so.
Yummy smells fill the kitchen and yummy bread to fill your tummy too! Great with raw hummous! :)
After my last cleanse, I felt the pull to go raw....but was resistant...until I learned (and experienced) that eating raw raises my life force vibration so much that the energy work I do took on an extra dimension and have been blessed enough to facilitate healings that defy the laws of physics ;)
And this from someone who used to roll her eyes and snort at the mention of anything alternative....
