Docs tried to get me to do that when I turned 50 and I said NO WAY JOSE! Now I'm 56. But everyone must decide those things for themselves. Is your mom open to alternative cancer therapies at all or is she going the chemo/radiation route? I read SO MUCH on cancer treatments that heal instead of hurt. It has been almost 8 years and she has been told she had two months to live numerous times by the doctors. She was a nurse, so common medical practices seemed right to her. I gave her shitake, reshi and mitake mushrooms and almost anything else I could convince her to take. I have thought about iodine, but I dont know if she would take it. It is a horrible thing---collon and rectal cancer. I think she got it from the hospital she worked at. It had once been used as a WWII ammunition holding site. Numerous others died from various cancers within a 5-7 year time frame. The place is now standing empty. As it should be I think. Thank you for your kind and caring response. Add To Favorites! I often wonder what effect it would have had for them. I know they would have taken it. This they would have done, both of them.
