Every single person needs to see this video. We need to do something NOW! We all need to be VERY, VERY frightened and MUST stop what is happening! Life as we know it is just about over! Seldom do I use expressions like "everyone needs to ____", or "send this ____ email to every body you know". This said, Freedom to Facism as well as your sentiment for it, may be among the large handfull of exceptions I would make for this kind of consideration....operative word, may... I'm still not sure on that, but that's beside the point. I am sure nonetheless that if, somehow, by some quirk of fate, if even a decent sized quantity of Americans could find their way to viewing this film - lets say 45 % for sake of argument, this would lead to a watershed event of historical proportion. I chose that number for specific reason.
Speaking of historical proportion, according to my computer screen, your post was viewed 568 times within 168 minutes of it having been posted by you. In over 3 years at the 'zone, I have never witnessed such a display, nor anything that even came close. To the contrary, at best it takes weeks to months for any one post to achieve such a stat. Even though I read your post, site unseen, 568 viewers in less than a few hours, for any post, may well deserve a constellation's worth of bright shiny award!.
Wow this is incredible 583 hits ! This makes my day ! It does seem that just very recently people are beginning to pay attention ! My disappointment in the low levels of activity in the political forums is beginning to change!
The lack of interest in this upcoming pres election is undertandable becasue of the lack of informstion in the eastablishment media, but just like Aaron Russo and others the information is out there !
My son turned me onto this video a while back after he had a political epiphanay from watching the movie "Loose Change" another video on the net that is shown in series form I would recommend every one see! People should press the good alert button and give this above post a bright star award rating it deserves it!
I do not mean to tramp on your enthusiasm. As far as that goes, stay enthused and forget I exist as far as that goes. I do mean to at least draw your attention to considering some of the peculiarity with this stat.
For starters, I do not know the technical aspects of exactly how it is CZ counts this particular kind of stat. I do know that on the big bad web out there, there is and has been this phenom for several years known as "web crawlers" - various sorts of BOTs designed by somebody for some apparent purpsoe to crawl the web searching and hitting all kinds of web sites looking & recording & hitting for something. What? I dunno, I barely know enough to say with some confidence that such happens and has been happening for years, and that such may OR may not have an impact on how any given web site's statistics of "hits" are tallied. Despite this, from experience the past three years right here at the web site of CZ, I do know that this particular "views" stat can be increased by one person, any person, merely reading a post, hitting the back button, then hitting the forward button again as if to read the same post again, and if this basic procedure is repeated, the stat continues to go up. I am not suggesting this is the case, I am merely pointing out one of the few things that I know from observation about a stat collecting mechanism that I otherwise admit - i don't know how they do it.
Secondly, I refer to my original commment on this that was to the effect of "... according to my computer screen...." The reason I said this was to make a public record of how it was my attention was first drawn to this stat at or around 10:00 A.M. this morning Friday, 06/22/07. When I went to bed last night, I left my computer running with browser opened to CureZone. According to what I saw when I first began to refresh my browser and commence to browsing CureZone this morning, I noticed this Freedom to Facism post was logged as having been posted at 12:40 A.M. this morning, 062207. I also noticed that this post apparently had been hit on "read" over 500 times in the span of 168 minutes subsequent to 12:40 A.M. This suggests these 500-plus hits occured between the hours of a little before 1 AM and around 3:30 AM. Just trying to take the related stats and logs at face value, it is quite peculiar that this post was read to the tune of 3 hits per minute for every minute over a period of 168 consecutive minutes between the wee hours of the morning this morning.
Again, I don't know how such happens, I don't know how such gets recorded and statisticized as havign happened, I only know that it happened. It would be nice to believe that there is room for enthusiasm in this. I don't know that there is, nor do I know that there isn't... such is the nature of things peculiar :)
No problem Ohfor07 ! You have not thwarted my enthusiam, but i agree, this is a phenominal response, with this many hits in such a short span of time is suspect! I to have considered this also and I often was amazed at how high the number of lurking public tally is with so little activity actually going on here! Put lets just continue to be vigilant and let us not at the same time assume that we have really accomplished all that much by finding assurance in just a set of numbers!
I looked at my post and also was shocked by the number of hits. I thought there had to be something wrong. I don't know what you mean by "web crawlers" or "BOTS" but thats okay. I hope we are not missing the real point here, that being, the information contained in the video and that we all need to get involved and start doing something and making some sort of noise. Lets not loose sight of what my post was hopefully meant be - getting the information out there. Who care how many hits it got - I don't. Here is the link again.
Here is another clue that may or may not lend weight to the "are we gaining momentum or what?" question.
Over in the Conspiracy forum, many months ago, when it first released via freely viewable internet video format, I posted a link to the same Freedom to Facism. That was during the time when I first found that a Aaron Russo even existed, by way of another web site. I just checked the stats on that post. Over the many months, it has accumulated 300-some hits.
I will state up front, openly, without qualms, that THAT stat may well have been a product/result of having been inovlved / connected to a post / any post, by me as opposed to somebody / anybody else other than me posting at CZ, like 78728, for instance.
after we take the gov't back, what will we do? if the best intentioned among us rule the land on our behalf, will they be able to stop the devolution to mayhem that sheer population/vs./resources is sure to promote.
im only asking in disagreement to stimulate the process, im in total agreement we need to find solutions, but ive come lately to wonder if the process/ if our entire western way, is doomed, and if its doomed for good reason.
perhaps the best thing a conscientious leader could do for the land is dismantle our way of life gently, for surely, with or without a police state, the process of degeneration after centuries of abuses in the industrial age, will take their toll, regardless of the love or hate of our leaders for their people. perhaps THIS is in part why the men in control now, have no compunction whatsoever, about dismantling 'life as we know it', because theyre aware that its all going to hell before something better can replace it anyway., hitler had thoughts like this, they called him a hypocrite for destroying the land he claimed to love, and yet, he knew the whole damn thing almost HAD TO be destroyed, if he really wanted his vision of a NEW world, to emerge.
personally, i think without a radical population reduction, either by voluntary means of simply NOT reproducing, or, controlled reproduction, which im totally against. who knows? perhaps technology will help but i tend to think of that as pie in the sky when we all know its technology, its abuse, that got us here to begin with.
this was a fabulous film, and if i was a schoolteacher id have lost my job for showing it over and over again, im sure, lol.
