Hello everybody, i am in the course of doing a Liver Flush with Andreas Moritz regime, and i have several questions:
1- About malic acid, andreas suggest to have about 32 ounces of apple juice per day during 6 days, i can´t get apple juice, the only one i got was a concentrated one, that had malic acid, but also had Aspartame and other poisons in it, so i had this question, can i replace apple juice with full apples? Or, i have just read an old post about malic acid and it had this info:
I was thinking about having instead of apple juice some lemmon juice, or orange or some mandarin!! will some of this be able to do the job?
2- If the stones that are expelled from liver and get to the bowel, if they are not expelled quicly, are they going to be reabsorbed by the body?
3- is it advisable to do a coffe enema along with the liver flush..? if its OK, when to do it and how much of them?
4- Is it Ok to do a bowel cleansing while i am preparing for the liver flush?? I am actually taking some castor oil with water in the morning, and also having an enema every once in a while, also having loads of veggies and fruits
BTW: this is a personal expirience that has been hapening to me in these days, everytime i get to eat Loads of mandarin(7or8 fruit in a round), later in day or the next day, i get some light brown, yellow colored diarrhea... can this be product of the malic acid present in mandarin?? should i expect this from the malic acid or it was just coincidence?
Well thx in advanced, sry if you find some gramatical mistakes in my post
Apple juice from concentrate is fine. Malic acid does not get degraded by processing so if all you can get is a regular super market apple juice; that will do just fine.
There isn't any doubt about the fact that apples have a very beneficial affect on bile. Both folk law and medical research backs up the fact that apples have an anti cholestrol effect. Apples would appear to have exactly the right combination of the desirable ingredients to pre-condition the biliary system prior to flushing. However, it is not essential for flushing it is just a helper and many people succeed without consuming apple juice.
Not all apples are equal and the malic content of apples vary greatly from variety to variety. The more sour apples have the highest malic apple content; such as Ganny Smiths.
It is also known that pectin in apples binds with cholesterol in the bile and expels it. This increases the throughput of 'fresh' bile and overall decreases cholesterol levels measured it the blood. But pectin alone does not explain the apple's powers, for the whole apple itself is a much more powerful cholesterol depressor than all the pectin squeezed out of an apple.
Eating fresh apples is just as good as drinking apple juice if you can eat sufficient in a day. Eating two or three fresh apples every day is sufficient to have a dramatic effect on cholesterol levels in a week. Apples rank near the bottom of the "glycemic index" (a measurement of how fast blood sugar rises after eating). This is almost as good as dried beans, one of the very best regulators of blood sugar. This means that despite an apple's natural sugar content, it does not result in a rapid rise in blood sugar. The fruit doesn’t result in a rapid increase in insulin.
The highest levels of malic acid are found in 'sour cherries'; three to five times the the content of apples.
I've always read it should be apple juice. A substitute for apple juice would be malic acid capsules or tablets from your health food store or on line. I've used this and it works.
If you try something else let us know how it works.
