Hopefully some of you can appreciate this. The oncologist wanted me to go see the thoracic surgeon about having the upper lobe of my lung hacked out in the hopes that he could convince me to do so. In speaking with the surgeon he told me if I was not going to go for FULL BRAIN RADIATION that I may as well not have the surgery and even if they did the surgery it was not a cure. The surgeon says "you have metatastic disease" and even with radiation & surgery you will not live more than 5 years. He stated if you do not have the lung tumor removed that it will continue to grow. I asked if he knew that for a fact and he said NO. He said after they did the lung surgery they would want to follow it up with radiation & aggressive chemo but I would still not make it past 5 years.
Now I have been waiting for one of these conventional doctors to pass a death sentence on me and here we have it. Do nothing or do the cut burn & poison and either way you will be dead by 5 years. I told him I was not one of the statistics and their is always god & spontaneous remission. Plus his statistics were not treating cancer the same way I am. I am actually grateful for his honest opinion since I have been praying for help on which path was best for me to follow. Having a deceased sister of lung cancer & a surviving sister, I have had some inner turmoil about what to do. This conversation revealed to me the tactic the oncologist who has said no chemo, would use if I did submit to surgery. I am now more than ever, committed to heal naturally, the way god intended. We are not statistics and with god's grace we can heal.
When I left the doctors office I thanked god for answering my prayer and showing me how to live past the 5 year path of destruction conventional medicine had planned for me. I also thank god for every one of you and your companionship on this journey. As Spock would say Live Long & Prosper :-) I'm not a trekie but I like that line.

To understand my dilemma, before being diagnosed with lung/brain cancer I prayed every night to god for healing, I was in pain for a long time.
One night I heard a voice simple say "your healing has been granted" I wasn't yet asleep yet so I can't call it a dream. Anyway, when the diagnosis of cancer came, I was given the best doctors their are, here where I live.
Now, in my family, everyone who agreed to radiation, (grampa, mom & 1 sister) had instant mets, I am talking days and died shortly afterwards. Each of them had lung cancer, 2 mixed cells one squamous cell.
So radiation in my family is out of the question.
The sister who survived and what was at the time an experimental treatment of 5 chemo drugs in 3 week long session plus surgery in 1990 had squamous cell and is still living an abusive lifestyle of smoking & drinking.
Interestingly, squamous cell lung cancer responds easier than the other non small cell cancers. In my case, adenocarcinoma, the doctors say the same regiment will only give me more time..
I know that it is easy to get discouraged when we read about anothers seemingly simple success with a certian therapy but we are all individuals with differing lifestyles and different nutritional needs so we all need to hang in their and find what works best for us and stick with things that have proven long term results like the flax mixture does.
Since I include Dr Schulze program and want to avoid anything negating the effect of another, he suggests spacing your juice & herbs 1/2 hour apart. If the mouse study has the same effect on humans where the anti cancer benefit was lessened by incorporating Vit C & E with the flax oil then I think this spacing would be a good idea. Who knows it might be why some people respond better than others to the flax mix.
I can only speak as a third party because I personally do not have cancer. With my alternative health knowledge it is my understanding that cancer is an illness, similar to a cold, but much worse. The condition of our body determines the degree in which we are able to fight the illness. When are bodies are not adequately nurished and in poor health this allows parasites to harbor and multiply in our bodies. These parasites feed off our organs and new nurishment until they begin to slow or stop working. We knew for many years that my mother-in-law was not well but it was not until February 2001 when my father-in-law died suddenly that I realized how sick she really was. She could not walk or eat on her own and she was only 68 years old. We took her to an Oncologist and a thorasic specialist who both basically gave us 3 text book options of Chemotherapy. I didn't believe mother-in-law was a text book case.
So placing my faith in god and alternative medicine I turned to my Chiropractor and nutritionist for guidance. I share this with you because she too has a brother and sister who died from lung, breast and brain cancer. They chose Chemo because that was their knowledge base and felt it was their only solution. They both died within 18 months of being diagnosed. Mom had Stage 4 Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia. The oncologists doctor gave her six weeks to live on March 12, 2001. She started her visits with Dr David Jantz the very next day. With my assistance my mother-in-law has chosen an alternative treatment plan to win her illness battle with CLL. Under the guidance and care of Dr. David Jantz, in Grosse Pointe Woods Michigan. He is a licensed Chiropractor and certified nutritionist in CRA, and certified NAET specialist. Dr. Jantz's exact words were on March 1, 2001 were "I cannot cure the cancer BUT I can heal the body to fight the cancer". We have never regretted our decision.
Mom has improved from stage 4 CLL to stage 2 in less than one year. We have far exceeded the 6 weeks she was given to live by her oncologist.
Most people might say that's a long time, but the healing process starts overnight and continues to improve with each passing day. It takes time for the body to heal each major area or organ that is not functioning properly. Her white blood cell have improved from 77,000 to 22,000 (normal is 12,000-14,000)and her x-rays showed no known signs of diseases. Mom also had a heart condition prior to starting treatment with Dr. Jantz and three weeks ago her cardioligist took her off all medication and said her heart is stronger than his and he didn't want to see her for a year.
Mom is now 69 years old and celebrating Easter in Hawaii with her daughter this week. We are all elated with her progress and have faith in god and Dr David Jantz that she will recover completely from this illness. I don't know what state you live in but would love to talk more in depth if you would like.

It's what actor Ryan O'Neal did for his cancer the last 2 years and he is cancer free now and making movies - same with Ron Howard.
I believe in all the alternative options you read on this forum and Curezone website. However, if you have leukemia and don't have much time, you might want to start the Gleevec until you can get stablized and fully into an alternative therapy. God bless.

This is interesting, Leukemia is a healing phase so-called cancer, which means that the patient is already healing. Sometimes however the healing is too much and the body can't handle it.
Staying away from chemo probably saved these people more than anything else. But it appears that Gleevic should be the first choice for palliative care, it certainly sounds much safer.
Leukemia is a healing from a severe emotional self devaluation usually from within the family.
The devaluation causes bone necrosis (osteolysis) which is rarely detected because it is painless. When the patient resolves the conflict the bone marrow will begin to repair producing leukocytes. This process will leave you exhausted and sick and if you don't PANIC your chances will be very good.
Gleevac inhibbits the production or absorbtion of tyrosine kinase, an enzyme produced when a cell mutates into hyperplasia mode, or rapid cell division.
Many inflamatory processes exploit this mechanism that remains in "On" position so to speak and therefore interupting this chemical reaction inside of cells inhibbits that hyperplasia or rapid cell division, tyrosine kinase is suspected as causing accelerated growth or supporting this rapid growth.
It is also antiviral in some cases and may provide us clues or hints as to the inflamatory process of some viruses.
Even in Non small cell lung cancer, there are now genetic sub types that will tell oncologist if that particular kind of nsclc will respond to anti tyrosine Kinase therapy.

Since GLEEVAC is anti viral, since there is an association to leukemia and viruses, since Gleevac is anti cancer, one should consider this therapy regardless of whether we think leukemia is viral related or not.

This treatment received by my mom Irene, was monitored and administered by an Alternative Health Doctor in Gross Pointe Woods Michigan. Dr. David Jantz is a licensed Chiropractor and ceritified nutritionist. He uses a CRA/Kenesiology as a means of testing the body and them provides nutritional supplementation to treat and heal the body, not the disease. We think he is the best thing next to god. Mom will be 71 in August and has never felt better. No sign of CLL at all! All blood counts are well within the normal limits.
There are other doctors within other states that practice in the manner that Dr. Jantz does, Where do you live?
Bill, I wonder how commited are you to getting well? I asked this because the body is a serious complicated machine. You will get better over time, not worse, but it could over a year to become totally well, are you will to make this type of commitment? You must have family and friends that support your decision on whatever method of treatment you decide. I am not a believer in chemo because I personally have lost 3 relatives to this type of treatment. For us there was only alternative methods, nothing else, because chemo has only killed!

Here I am a year later and I just read your post. The doctors say I have beaten the statistics, in other words they don't know why the diease has not killed me yet. I laugh and tell them I am not ready. I have never taken the diagnosis as a death sentence but more a challenge to inprove my lifestyle. It isn't always easy as the illness itself makes you tired and hurt as toxins try yo leave your body. I have had 4 more brain metastasis pop up last sept and two have to be removed due to the swelling they are causing more than anything else. That is scheduled for next Tuesday and I expect to recover quickly from that as well.

I will say this. Don't neglect heavy metalic salts like cesium chloride, rhubidium, colloid silver, copper, iron, iodine. If you are taking anything that looks like an oxygen donor, (flax seed and chlorophyll containing products.)
These all will greatly enhance anything that you do alternatively .
ESSIAC does contain highly alkaline substances, (turkish rhubarb,) but when you understand how these substances work. It is hard to ignore heavier salts.
Also, look up vitamin c infusions, (ascorbate.)

I commend you for your courage, and the oncologist did indeed hand you a false death sentence. How long after your sister's death did you develop lung cancer?
If you had only one tumor it is likely that your fear for your sister's life triggered the tumor. If you had multiple tumors then you had a serious death fright for yourself.
This is why lung cancer is the most common form of secondary cancer, because the terror of the diagnosis or death sentence will trigger this type of lung cancer.
If you care for the emotional roots of your illness you will go into spontaneous remission. Expect however for the cancer to break down and this will leave you with exhaustion, coughing and fevers for about 6 weeks. You may even cough up blood and bits of cancerous tissue that is breaking down-not fun.
