It's pretty fun shopping with me except the time I went shopping with a friend and everytime she asked my opinion I answered like Old Carl from the movie slingblade "No I reckon'I just prefer me some french fried taters MMM Hmmmm"
Sometimes when we go shopping when we get something like Bok Choy or ginger and the teenaged checkout girl does not know what it is and ask us and we say I dunno some typa lettuce or some vegetable thingy
One time we went to a particular store where they always ask if I want a carry out which I think is silly when I only have 1 or 2 bags. So this time I was with my friend and had two bags and I asked for a carry out. The girl was overjoyed and thanked me for getting her outside for some air. Everytime we went back she would spot me and ask for a carryout. Sometimes I would just go for a chocolate bar or a pack of gum and ask for a carryout (Hey it's their policy not to discriminate)
WHen you go grocery shopping with me count on getting free items, don't know how but I quite often do when I try to take them back and show them they tell me not to worry. Lines open up magically....what else...
oh sometimes we stand in separate lines or one of us will invite the other to step in front because "you have less items" we then start a conversation and we get really comfortable with each other really quick and by checkout the other customers are surprised to see us exit together after we make very verbal plans to connect.
Quite often the cashier is shocked that I have added up all the items in my head beforehand and tell her the total a second before she gives the tally
Yes you will have to carry my groceries but often it is only a bok choy or a few bars of quality chocolate.

It's nothing personal, i just never go t the grocery store with men in Chi town. Most things I would have done as a youth are no longer feesible due to fuel prices. I might vacation there, but would never go there to go the the store...unless I absolutely could not find an item I wanted in the other states closer.

I usually do order and have the item come to me
