I just wanted to thank Trapper for getting rough with me awhile back. In retrospect, I know he was just looking out for me.
I know that an apology was something I was looking for, BUT, I think he has an "innate" ability to know when someone (like me for example) just needs a "strong hand" when it comes to simple guidance. His communication skills may be lacking (whose aren't, I know mine certainly are not perfect) but his heart was definitely in the right place.
Well, after more prayer on this topic, I just happened to be given a name of a local dentist, who routinely does mercury removal. He simply doesn't go 'round advertising it. Knowing my town like I do, and knowing the "system" around here...this makes perfect sense. He'd be ridden outta town on a rail!
Anywho, for everything I need done,
*FOURTEEN mercury amalgams,
*one of which will be a crown,
*ALL of my incisors need a new filling on the biting edges of them, as they are ALL now a bit rough looking, with some just downright chipped! (This was the guise I went in for, with the intention of bringing up the mercury once I was in the chair).
All this work can be done in six visits or less, and I get started on August 28th!
How much do you think this would cost me, even if I had NO insurance?
Well, guess what?
The total came to $2500.00! I was so pleasantly surprised. But the best part of it is, is that MY part will be LESS THAN $900! I cannot believe it. The insurance will NOT cover the mercury removal - but it WILL cover the filling! I was so surprised! And, they did have to tell me that it has recently come to light that mercury Amalgams "pose no health threat" -
yah right.
They "have to inform me of that finding" so that I know of the costs to me.
Heck, when I requested a "breakdown" of the estimate, even the doctor himself went over it with me, when he could have had his assistant do it for him.
God has NOT left the building!
I am SO happy I actually WILL be without these darn things very soon!
yee-haw!
Soon, I will have NO MORE METAL TASTE IN MY MOUTH!
My thyroid can finally stop getting lambasted with toxic mercury! (And many other organs, to be sure)
yay me! (My daughter is clapping in the background!)
i am an extraordinary salseman. i have literally sold ice to eskimos, and lots of it. i deliberately do not employ these skills. since my stints in the business world, i have a renewed respect for our god-given free will. i present. i cannot be concerned with anyones acceptance or rejection. that is their choice alone and i respect their choices just as i expect mine to be accepted. and respected.
you had a honey of a visit. i pray that it is yet another example from you to all. fourteen amalgams. thats two more than i had. this is also a good example of how the female of the species can handle toxins better than males.
I had my little 5 out in the early 90's and my dentist said the same thing ... "There's been no scientific evidence ... blah, blah, blah." I told him I didn't care what the scientific evidence was or was not, I just wanted them out, Out, OUT! But now I'm dealing with the residual mercury, but at least they're out and I can work on the residue.
I'm really happy for you. I love what you said, "God has not left the building." Miracles still happen.
I discovered the DVD "The Secret" a few months ago and ever since then just expect miraculous things to happen and they do. You go girl! This is just the beginning ...
I've watched the movie three times, and get something more out of it each time.
I believe it's time to rent it again, I think I may be able to even purchase it now. My ever-enlightening friends (that I introduced to iodine) manage a video store, and they're getting rid of the VHS tapes for 2.95. I had better see if "What the Bleep..." is for sale. It's time to do some more "visualization"!
And I haven't even watched it "under the influence" of iodine! Can't imagine what I'll get out of it this time around!
Congratulations! I am so happy for you. And what a blessing about the cost. You will be VERY pleased, at least I was. I had mine out in May/June this year.
PS A very big thank you goes to trapper from me too! ;)
YOU(and all those like you) are my thanks. you are welcome and appreciated. everyone. always. this is my honor and privelege just to know you all and be of some help if i can. it is more than enough for me. you are my friends.
and as a result of T's hassling you & V's well-timed post the other day I've actually...gotten out the phonebook:) I'm going to start looking, too. *sigh*
I HATE dentists! Ever had a dentist drilling on a live nerve? egads!
Look for a mercury free dentist that follows IAOMT protocol.
I had two mercury fillings removed by a dentist who followed no precautions to protect me from mercury. So did my husband, wait, he had four done.
Huge mistake, we were sick for weeks.
Then I had two done by a doc who used every precaution to protect me against mercury. I felt perfectly fine.
Mercury is so extremely toxic, but personally, I think it may be better to leave fillings in, than to have all that mercury dumped into your system at one time.
I see a fabulous holistic dentist that I found online.
and especially if I "cave" into eating something acidic, like candy
or crunchy, like corn chips.
I do just fine with fruit and nuts, and endeavor to eat only those for now. Heck, it will certainly be a good thing to continue to eat that way if for no other reason than to chelate and detox the mercury I do breathe in and/or swallow.
I've come this far, and I'm getting more and more excited. I have NEVER before actually "looked forward" to going to the dentist before!
