I have been eating lots of fruits, veggies, whole grain spaghetti. I eat hard boiled eggs. Yet I would like more sources of protein, that is not meat, please.
Also, if anyone has a recipe for raw gazpacho, I would appreciate that as well.
Could anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance.
make what? dhal simply means beans. I cook mung dhal for now. I used to eat it in kicheree with rice and veggies but I abstain from grains and soon will remove the beans also.
mung sprouts are good. I do not like adzuki so much
There is tempeh and much more
if you are a non-vegetaroian then veg sources will not help much
as a true vegetarian your need for protein goes down as it is more assimilable or usable to the body.
Dense protein molecules such as that of carnivorous eating requires over eating of protein.
"as a true vegetarian your need for protein goes down as it is more assimilable or usable to the body."
how does that work?
I am eating as a vegetarian, in this time. I eat the eggs because I seem to feel famished after eating still. I have eaten raw and loved what I ate but it seems within an hour and a half or so, I am hungry again.
how does it work? it seems as I said that protein requirement goes down. Higher sources of protein regardless of those who talk of complete and incomplete, provide greater energy. It is the energy and light from food that we absorb that is most important. how much energy and light do you suppose is in meat compared to that in a plant? I am quite large and have been veg for 6 years and have not loss much muscle mass. My protein in grams is a pittance compared to when I ate meat.
I used to eat eggs too for a while in fact gave them up recently. They have an energy to them also.
Raw is most often to hi in carbs and sugar and leads to hypoglycemia problems and feeiling hungry all the time.
Anyway Dhal/beans are the primary source of protein, as one builds up light chi/prana one way get rid of the beans also and subsist on very light proteins that exist in all fruits and veggies.
