Hello everyone. I recently started taking 50 mg zinc glucconate every night and noticed a rather large wart on the upper palm of my right hand and another smaller wart also on my right hand appear to be gone. (The area where the larger one has some shininess about it, kind-of like scarring, which is why I say seems to instead of has. I tried two treatments in the past on this wart: the salicylic acid and those hme-freezing kits, as well as reducing its height a few times with nail clippers, so there very well may be scarring.)
However, I have a wart on a finger on my left hand that has not shown any progress at all.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Has anyone else experienced this, and what have you done to resolve it?
I saw one study where they administered 100 mg/day in three divided doses right on up to 600 mg/day in three divided doses, but this was of zinc sulphate.
I'm wondering if it would be ok to go to two or three tablets of the 50mg zing glucconate...
No idea why one side of your body seems to be responding and the other isnt. You should try Zinc Sulfate which is a liquid form and is better absored by the body. The glucconate form is appparrently the Cheap form of zinc. You also could try Wateroz Zinc which is angstrom in size liquid and can get inside cells. I think the best zinc in a pill form is OptiZinc. By the way I notice I cant take zinc (pill or liquid) on a empty stomach as I will get stomach pains.
Im going to start upgrading my Zinc use with Wateroz and Sulfate since I already have them on hand. Since they are liquid I bet you could also rub them on the warts with a Q-tip and get a result, I never tested this however.
Zinc kills bacteria in your body. I notice I have less body order smell when on high zinc.
