I don’t think that El Al flys Fridays out of U.S.(NY/L.A.) , anyway-so that rumor
is true...they are not flying out of US on the 14th. I could be mistaken though...
If anyone out there thinks this government and the
powers to be are beyond a scheme like this then good
luck.
Not that it is the sole motivation, yet Oil=power and yes,
people will kill for power.
The Bush family has strong ties to Arabia and the Bin Laden
family...google those 3 sometime...
The Bush family even had ties with Hitler, George Sr can be
linked to the JFK murder as well ....google that...
Long ago, the world consisted of small tribes. These tribes
grew to countries. In the United States situation, we grew
into a powerful country, yet the 'tribe' mentality of looking
out for each other vanished to the greed and immorality of power.
The only thing left in this country that resembles the tribe, is
the family and I think that is being undermined as I type.
Look out for each other and we will gain the strength to take
back our country...
Boycott the corrupt power...the Corporations that poison us ,
and the media that backs them up...slowly that will bring us
up the ladder to the government...It's a money chain!
The Gov't has been scheming and junk since it has been around. But a line is drawn at blowing up it's own cities. .0001% of the population believe all the 9/11 conspiracy theories.
In 50 years, if the polar ice caps haven't flooded us, all the conspiracy theorists will be playing shuffleboard in Florida and will have forgotten all about their thoughts about all these evil Government people and evil forces.
It actually reminds me of sitting around the campfire back at 6th grade camp, telling boogeyman stories.
I hope I'm playing shuffleboard in 50 years! I'll be 100 then! And if I make it that long, without getting hit by a truck or the like prior, then I'll attribute my longevity to being a very conscious person-healthwise, mentally, worldly and spiritually , questioning the powers to be and all the things they strive for us to perceive as gospel.
As for boogeyman stories...reality is scarier to the aware & those that
question the reality they are led to believe, yet the truth,or the possibility that their 'world' may not be what it has appeared to be, can be too frightning
for many to deal with. I understand. Ah, I miss that bliss of being a 6th grader.
I miss s'mores around the campfire,too...but not that much.
I'm new to this topic forum, yet not new to denial, ridicule & ignorance...
we are all in the dark for the most part. It's my duty, I believe,in life, to question and confirm the truth for myself, not simply accept it. I don't enjoy the horrors , lies and deceptions I uncover, discover or read on posts in venues like this. It is the acceptance of the American public that the government counts on and our acceptance & trust in them has not gotten this country to the level it should be at. Like it or not, many, many people are losing or have lost confidence in the regime. It's not 1%, sorry.
If one thinks this country is better off after the last 7 years on a local and world wide basis, then I'd love to hear where, how and why? If one thinks the rest of the world respects our political structure and its constituents then one is grossly misinformed, I feel, and not very well traveled or versed in foreign affairs and news.
Before one calls someone's thoughts 'nonsensical' , one should do a little digging around to realize they are not thoughts, they are backed up , grounded theories by
very intelligent ,reputable people. Sometimes it gets dirty ,though truth is not always pristine.
I know, I learned that in College. But, I don't have the gold and don't make the rules. And, if you worry yourself over all that you cannot change, you won't have a happy life. People love the thrill of being a part of something that seems taboo.
"If one thinks this country is better off after the last 7 years on a local and world wide basis, then I'd love to hear where, how and why?"
I guess my alternative school that I attended taught me different views.
I pity those that feel they are powerless, helpless and who can make no contribution for the overall good. The people that always consider themselves victims. Sounds 12 steppy to me. Not that that is wrong, just not for me to ever be powerless or to ever fall victim, knowingly or willingly. Sorry, I just can't give in ... my spirit, my being, my conscience, my morality , my upbringing won't allow it.
Being "a part of something that feels taboo is thrilling" is not the way it is for me. Though, I guess that there is a thrill, a sense of being, knowing that I don't fall for the BS that is dished out by our 'guardian masters'. I have definitely experienced more pain than thrill, still I firmly believe in order to be free one has to be willing to bleed, although that easy road sometimes looks enticing I do admit.
If seeking truth is taboo...if questioning authority and power is mearly thrillseeking to you , then you live in a differnt world than I.
No guts no glory. I have gone against the norm for over 30 years. And will continue to take the high road til the day I die. The road of truth is the road less travelled. Just because 99% of the people believe something does not make it true.
I'm proud to be part of the 1%(or was it quoted as .001%) and to those few I say, " you are not alone, continue your our cause". Others can't fathom what we stand for or strive for. They are content in believing that change is impossible and one can't be happy unless they 'fit' in.
Us 0.001%-ers mine the gold ,sweetheart!!
Life is humiliating. Sometimes we have to swallow our pride and admit we were/are wrong. I've done it many times. I take chances, I take risks,I make mistakes, I walk many a different line...yet, I am free and I don't waste my time worrying-I use that precious time more wisely.
I love and respect life. The butterfly in the forest does affect the whole universe.
It is an individual's responsibility to make each move a positive influence on our world.
The true bullies are getting away with it while we spin our wheels here.
The best way to get things done is to stop talking and start doing~Walt Disney
yeah, the colleges are filled with those who want to get in and out and get the degree so they can go to work and buy a car. i feel as powerless as anyone else though. the older one gets, the more they learn to go with the flow and not worry about what they cannot control.
I was raised to believe the government is corrupted by money and have their own best interests and those of corporations in mind, not ours. So, I don't fall for all the good they say they are doing. But, I also was raised to know that the one with the gold makes the rules.
We are lucky we can buy are own food and water and not be forcefed that. The Government is very corrupt, but they don't blow up our own cities.
I truly hope that 'God' grants you that...
I think you either have it or you don't.
I find it degrading that the word 'power' is
not mentioned in that 'best way to live'. Wonder
who power WAS meant for in that 'way to live'?
However, not everyone feels powerless, otherwise no change
would ever happen and things would get worse. That powerless
feeling is not your fault though. It was the way WE have been
'raised'.
We are very different on our approach and I respect yours.
The way I was 'raised' and the way I govern my life are TWO different
things.
I love having my own beliefs...not someone elses, even if it is a harder
road, I find serenity in knowing and turning rocks over. Hence I was pegged
Detour 30 years ago...I always search for a better way, it's usually a
tough road.
Out of sheer curiosity, what are some of the things you think/know you CAN
change? Anything? If so then you are empowered to change everything you want.
Don't be afraid of your power.
Well, powerless in the sense that I am not going to change the way drs give drugs like candy and use chemo and radiation for cancer..and things like that. But I accept that, so it is not stressful. It is only stressful when the drs get a hold of someone I love and do it to them; but I have to let that go, too, because neither drs nor the patient will listen. I do give it the old college try, though with my loved ones, just as I recently did with my cousin. it was to no avail. he decided the drs were right and he is now dying at their hands.
I doubt we are that different.
It is difficult for one person to change anything. It happens occasionally. But, they don't affect the over all world power. corporate america and the government are in collusion to keep control of most of the money. that will remain until the people overthrow the government, and they do everything they can to ensure that doesn't happen.
If one wants to make small changes, the best thing is to join a special interest group. we actually do not have a democracy as most think, but instead, Pluralism. It is best to try and pick one that has political cloat. An example is Sierra Club. They may not be ideal, but they get some good things done and they have backing by big corporations (which is where the bulk of all the money in the US is).
I have been preaching amalgam removal on my own for a few years. Still, the Dentists put in mercury every day and root canals, too, along with nickel and other bad things. I have friends who are Activists in it and have been at that many many years. It is a fight that may never truly be won.
Fights that may never be truly won are not truly fought.
It doesn't have to be a fight or war,though...that is another thing
we were 'raised' on.
Just one individual allieviating prescribed drugs from their
routine and passing that way of life on to their children is a start. Their
children will raise their children the same, and so on and so on...a positive
thought goes on forever...at least in my universe.
Change rarely happens overnight and there are sacrifices and many if not most times no immediate rewards. Parable to doing a kind act and never hearing, 'thanks', we still do those kind acts. We personally may never witness the changes we instill, yet for me , knowing that I lived my life righteously and with good intent is rewarding enough. My son will hopefully learn from me and pass on what good intentions and actions he witnessed, whilst sifting through my dirt of simply being human. I have given him a better life than I had by allowing him to see power and choice as a way of life, while protecting him from that which I feel is dangerous.
Without the 'thanks' or actually seeing results, it seems difficult for 'one' to make a change or impact, yet just one makes more of a change than most are aware of. For example , by you just reading this post, your life will go in a different direction, like it or not, however slight, and those you touch will have their lives changed and those they touch and so on and so on. In a day the whole world is touched, if not the whole universe. Everything is connected.
Most people will reject that philosophy due its intensity and obvious
overall responsiblity it demands from an individual. True power can be a scary thing. Realizing that we can get virtually anything we want in life can be terrifying, and many mistakes are made along the way from that power.
We really aren't that different. For the most part everyone has the same amount
of internal power. Our differences lie primarily in the realization of that power
and the use and manipulation of it.
It is wonderful ,your preaching of Amalgam removal. If you helped one person you
have helped 1000s unknowingly it seems. I would say that is pretty powerful, wouldn't you?
Over the course of most of my life,I have promoted a healthy lifestyle,anti-racism and the need to doubt power to most I come in contact with. I can honestly say I have changed many many people's lives by doing so, and it gives me solice to say that those I have touched have touched others, and so on and so on. I would say that is pretty powerful as well.
When 51 % of the public is 'covered' by an election, I agree that is not
democracy.
A great example of change that one can easily comprehend, is the use and distribution of PDAs...
Five years ago few had one, now millions do ... that's only 5 years.
It's all marketing and/or creating a need. If the phone and computer companies
can create a need for an otherwise useless piece of metal, just think what a
stir a good honest cause can rumble up.
No one is powerless and helpless, they were only told that and they believe it.
Yes, I agree, but instead what most are passing on to their children are Wal*Mart, donuts, cell phones, pop, and McDonald's. The media does quite a number on people. That is why I say there will likely always be the majority doing all this stuff and a small minority of us paying exhorbant prices for organic food and such.
Yes, it is always a tear-jerker for me when I see kids taking on the values of their parents (when they are good values). I share most of my parent's ideals and am lucky they had them.
"Realizing that we can get virtually anything we want in life can be terrifying, and many mistakes are made along the way from that power."
We can get anything we want within reason. Society and the Government and Corporate America have a lot to say with what you can have and not have, don't be fooled. It isn't a free-for-all.
"I have touched have touched others, and so on and so on. I would say that is pretty powerful as well."
I have always thought this is most likely true most of the time:
Manipulative, abusive, grandiose -- and downright crooked -- executives who have strutted their way across the stage of American business.
The man behind the Mouse was a suspicious control freak -- a dictatorial boss who underpaid his workers, clashed with labor organizing efforts, made anti-Semitic smears about the other Hollywood studio heads, and wouldn't give due recognition to Mickey's real creator, animator Ub Iwerks, who was supposedly his oldest friend. He also spied prodigiously for J. Edgar Hoover and cooperated with Senator Joseph McCarthy in the 1960s.
