A good wholesome diet and quality vitamin and mineral supplement might help some. When I say good quality, if that is all you plan to do for now, organic whole food liquid vitamin and sea minerals is a good place to start. Synthetic vitamins from the drug store are crap, and now research is showing they just load the body with metals, calcify the systems, and make your health worse in the long run. Google can be your best friend right now, in addition to the advice of all the members on this forum who have experience in health matters. Good Luck to you, hope you feel better soon!   [End]

I purchase most of my vitamins from GNC or Solar or Nature Bounty but I have never heard of ”vitamins that load the body with metals”, there are always schools that are against the usage of vitamins because there is no evidence of their benefit (beside on their opinion) nevertheless they are the same people who work in drug store business. Yes, you need to find the cause, could from candida placing a burden on the immune system and the body as a whole or could be from other imbalances in the body. The most common cause of hair loss is a stressed nervous system. You say your diet is good, but that could really mean anything, depending on the person, a low-carb diet can cause these symptoms, did you always have this problem or did it start after taking certain herbs or following a certain diet?   [End]

Hello, I am writing to you today because I do not know what to do anymore! My whole problem started early october when I crashed my car and went under a lot of stress. Turns out that helmet had been sitting in the garage for a while and been used by at LEAST 4 other people. When my scalp itching was at its worst, I put borax and cheap liquid clothes detergent into my bath and soaked in it for 30 minutes as hot as I could, keeping my hair underwater as much as possible. I did this every night for a week, and it stopped the itching. Also, I would put coconut oil on my scalp and put a shower cap on and leave it for about 3 or 4 hours, then wash it out with Sulfur 8 shampoo. It takes awhile to get rid of them, because they are laying eggs all the time. You have to treat constantly for up to a month to get all the eggs as they hatch.   [End]

Any antifungals or antimicrobials can temporarily make the hair loss even worse until your body begins to clear toxins. Its scary but I can reassure you that it does grow back (I have even lost big patches of hair...I still have bald patches but its slowly growing back). Hi there, ... ... The main reason that hair loss occurs is due to the central nervous system being stressed. Candida, parasites, bacterial infections of any type will all stress the central nervous system. Any diet that puts your body into a state of ketosis (such as low-carb or fruitarian or 100% raw) will also stress the central nervous system and most people should avoid these. Candida die-off will surely put stress on the CNS and you can experience large amounts of hair loss when taking anti-fungals.   [End]

Hmm cant edit my text for some reason. My theory is that if you are healthy you dont need truckloads of iodine.
