I have the same issue but I have been doing better since NB. have you tried different forms? I know I can handle beer better than wine. Wine makes my muscles cramp up and hurt, but one beer is okay. Or even a small mixed drink. Sometimes I think it’s the chemicals. I started making my own wine last year so I’m anxious to see if I can handle that. ... ... I don’t know much about NB and heavy metals connection but if I were you I would look closely at your blood sugar levels and how it reacts to alcohol being present in your system. ... Hi, I suffer from very severe MCS and it started off with alcohol. At first I would have right upper quaderant pain for a few hours each time I drank & it got worse, it would last longer each time until it stuck with me and turned into full blown MCS. Since MCS & CFS are related, so they say, I would be very careful. If your body let’s you know it has a problem with anything you better listen. In my experience, DMPS is the best chelator, followed by ALA, DMSA, then the others. But they are all indispensable IMO. I know exactly what you are looking for. I found a doctor in Squrriel hill just out side of pittsburgh. She is an MD, so she perscribed my diflucan and anything else you need. And also is an ND. Also does the metametrix test as well and the genova tests. Her name is Franny Berez. google her, not hard to find. Believe me she believe in Candida and parasites because she had them herself. Hi, iam unsure how much epsom salt to eat, maybe it says on the box? Ocean salts are good too. And sip pau de arco tea. Maybe pure cocoa too. There are lots of things to try suggested on this forum. Pomegranite juice and carrots kill worms. Coconuts too. I dont know how to get the ones in head, possible theyre in scalp, not brain? Someone suggested putting borax in your shampoo. Honest to God, I think it would be easier being abducted by aliens, than finding a compentant doctor or naturopath who is well practiced with this disorder. I think I have this and need to be tested for it. I live in So. Cal. I am also heterozygous(sp?) for MTHFR gene, I havent done much to increase my methylation, except I took SAM-e at one point, I do not remember feeling any different, but that was a couple years ago, maybe I shall try again. also I remember seeing post on this forum by ”Trick X Master” , I think he talked about his experiences with methylation so you could look at his post history. But I would love to try the bath flakes to soak my feet in, because my skin is super sensitive and the oil does really burn for about 20-30 minutes after I use it. Thanks so much! Good to know I’m not alone in feeling this way. The worst part is the doctor acts like you’re making it all up because of the normal blood sugar readings. ... ... I will definitely try to add back in a few more complex carbs that you suggested. So far, I have been able to tolerate raw, organic almond butter with no sugar, hummus, and most all vegetable carbs except potato and corn. You don’t need to juice fast, just adopt a temporarily vegan diet to cleanse yourself of the toxic build-up in your liver and kidneys and where ever else. ... ... I just happened to juice first, partly from seeing the juicing documentary Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead, and it happened to work very quickly for me. Thank you very much for your reply. I didn’t worry too much about my high calcium because my doctor ”ok’d” it, I guess because it was only .1 outside the normal range. But even still, it makes sense that this is what could be causing me problems. It’s interesting that hyperparathyroidism can cause Osteoporosis, as I do have a few teeth that have cracked, but have not had the money to get them fixed. ... ... PTH is the hormone the parathyroid’s excrete. I’m sure you should be able to get that tested without having to travel to Tampa. ... If your PTH levels show elevated (look on their tampa website to get an idea of TRUE reference ranges for normal PTH production - or email them) - the guys at tampa have excellent scanning diagnostic tools - the best in the U.S apparently to see if one of the glands has overgrown and producing PTH hormone like mad! ... ...
