Hey, I would return all that stuff you bought and go with the McComb’s plan. Vitamins and herbs should be taken with a very specific purpose (to get rid of candida I know, but they also need to work with your individual body and that gets more complicated). I have never done the McComb’s plan, some people have had good results others are not cured completely from it, I think it depends on how severe your candida overgrowth is. Overall, the supplements you will get with the McComb’s plan are probably much more beneficial than what you have now. I agree with Kcirla that anti-fungals are ...

As I said, STOP the antifungals, meaning oil of oregano and garlic included. They’re also antibacterial, and the fact that natural antifungals are selective against bad fungus and bacterias is a myth. If you take a lot of kefir and saccharomyces boulardii, you don’t need any antifungals. Kefir and S.Boulardii are extremly powerful against candida albicans, believe me. I’ve used almost every single natural antifungal you can think of, and they always created the same problem: they’re effective, but the fungus can build resistance to it. And once you stop them, the fungus comes back even wor ...

I completely agree with Eric’s remarks. Cleaning up your diet is definitely in order. Do not eat anything processed. Cut out gluten and all dairy(no cheese, milk, or yogurt). Try fish, chicken, turkey, vegetables, fruits, brown rice, quinoa, millet, water (lots of water-3-4 quarts/day), a natural multivitamin, Celtic/Himalayan sea salt, etc. Internal cleansing should also be done as well. You can find multi-detoxification pathway supplements at your local supplement store such as GNC or The Vitamin Shoppe reasonably priced for around $50 or less. I would not personally consume dairy. Others, I’m sure feel differently. My perspective is that there are a lot of unnecessary processes going on with cows/dairy prior to ever making it to the market, which affect us when we consume them. There have also been studies that directly link the proteins in milk to cancer. You can formulate an argument for either side, but I don’t believe milk is the best option and there are certainly ...

Yes adrenal fatigue can cause candida. Don’t think the high protein, high fat diet is helping things for you. I have heard this time and time again when people go low carb they develop many food intolerances (happened to me too). This can easily be remedied by putting good healthy carbohydrates back into your diet, it may take a while for your digestion to get back to where it was. Some people do well on a high protein, high fat diet but most people do not. I believe that generally people that have hypoglycemia need more carbohydrates than other people. Hypoglycemia could mean the ch ...

Sorry, but I am not an expert on ayurveda yet. I’m starting a two year program at Sai Ayurveda College next month so hopefully two years from now I will be an expert on this. From the little I know, yes, you are most likely to develop imbalances in your primary doshas first. From my experience the doshas seem to have a synergistic relationship, they work together in various ways. In your case I would wonder about the relationship between pitta and vata, when pitta is high, this can throw vata way out of whack also. There are many complex immune mechanisms involved in the interplay between a yeast infection and the adrenal glands, but suffice to say, there certainly is a correlation between them both. By treating adrenal fatigue and a yeast infection simultaneously, I have discovered in the clinic that the patient tends to recover much faster than by treating either as a stand-alone condition. Unfortunately, in the worst case scenario, neither condition is treated because both a yeast infection and adrenal fatigue were not recognized as distinct syndromes, or because the practitioner just treated the ...

Candida loves the sugar; hates the antifungals. You’re body probably can’t delineate between the yeast’s two differing emotional patterns. Garlic always makes me feel bad but I know it’s good. The itch and dandruff can be helped by taking olive leaf extract internally 500mg 3x /day, building up to 6x/day. Consider a CDSA x 3 stool test, and be sure to stop glutamine a week before hand, as well as any anti fungals, etc. Sounds like candida. I’d guess it can be cultured in your case, because you are describing fermentative dysbiosis - gas and bloating. I have to say that the video from Kerri and Andreas on MMS that I have watched is a real eye opener and very informative and I will keep open minded and research this more. I need to find a very gentle way of healing his gut and getting rid of the candida. I think that his gut is so badly damaged from the calcium citrate and the candida that is why I am finding it difficult to find anythi ...

Well, for the first 18 mos they have used citric acid with good results, however they now have changed to 4%HCL to activate. ... ... My belief is the parasites are causing gut issues, it cures when the parasites are gone. [End]

Thanks, I just had a quick look at the body ecology diet and there is loads of information to read up on. Looks a useful website and it would be great to be able to get some good ideas from it to help my son. I have never come across the website before so I really appreciate the feedback. In fact I appreciate any feedback as I have been pulling my hair out so to speak in frustration of not being able to help him. In fact when I try a new product on him I just think how is he going to react to this one so fingers crossed with this new information. [End]

My emu oil capsules and lotion have arrived today. I am going to try the oil on his skin first to see if there is a reaction and then if everything goes o.k. I will try a tiny droplet of the oil in the capsule by mixing it into his food to see how he copes with that and gradually increase the oil over a long time to see how many droplets of the emu capsule oil he can tollerate. I am just waiting for him to recover fully from the last supplement he took and then I shall start giving it. Fingers crossed ! [End]

I started with a couple of droplets of emu oil and now am giving 4 droplets. At first there was some effects typical to autism but now his body has adjusted to it and he is taking the droplets well with no effects so I will increase to five droplets and see how that goes. I also give him rice bran oil and am seeing positive effects on his brain, he is much happier when I give it to him and he has started to sleep through the night which has made a huge difference to the way I feel as I feel I have got more energy. In early March 2012 I had a laparoscopic gallbladder removal due to a couple years of gallstone attacks. The end of March or early April as my body was recovering from from surgery I started to realize that I’m coming along with a bad case of dandruff. I would scratch and peel sheds of dead scalp flakes off my head. Soon after the so called “dandruff” flare, I began getting itchy and redness on my genital areas and belly button area. I had no idea what it was, but it was getting worse and I knew I had to see a doctor. One of the incision sites from the surgery also did no ...

I don’t have psoriasis, but have read enough stories to think you are right, it’s digestive, toxin elimination issues. In addition to liver flushing, a parasite cleanse would also be a good idea. My opinion. Good Luck. [End]

It’s ALL tied in with the liver. Which is tied in to the gallbladder. Taking out the gallbladder has just solved the gallstone crisis, now you have the chronic (liver stone) blocked/congested bile scenario. And that causes digestive/constipation issues. btw, constipation includes the kind of BMs you are talking about. The skin issues is simply the boy’s way of dealing with the clogging and its effects. That you had the gallbladder out is proof the liver needs help. ... ... Doctors don’t know about all this. You would not need a dermatologist if the liver was clean and clear and producing bile ...

Thanks for the advice Chiron. Btw, do you think you can link me up to that RRR post you mentioned about the parasites? I’m fairly new to the site and I’m not familiar with curezone’s forums. It’s quite confusing finding your way around the site compared to others. [End]

Dandruff and psoriasis are typical symptoms of candida overgrowth. Unbalanced gut flora and liver congestion go hand in hand. Restore healthy bile flow with liver flushing and cleansing, and rebalance your flora through diet, probiotic foods and herbs. [End]

also read about another test in dr. crook’s book the yeast connection. take a spoon of brewers yeast and see if you have a reaction. then take some yeasty cheese. reaction to either means you still have candida. [End]

So when i eat stuff that bothers me, which i assume is leaky gut related, i react INSTANTLY. With the most debilitating brain fog and fatigue i can describe. Completely messes my week up. My question for this board is do you guys react the second the food hits your stomach? Or is it more delayed? [End]

For me, it depends what I’m reacting to. Chemicals in the air, smells, etc. I’ll react to almost immediately, and it’ll take a good 24 hours to recover from, and things that I consume (in food, drink, or supplement), it usually is a delayed effect (up to a full day after consumption). [End]
