Almost everyone i have talked to with lyme tests negative for celiac yet cannot eat gluten, dairy, soy, artificial sweeteners, etc. what is the root cause of the gluten intolerance? I have been gluten free for years with not much improvement due to cross-contamination in the environment. I can even react just driving down the road and passing a (nasty) fast food place. ... ... ... I wish there was some supplement or herb that I could take which would reverse the reaction. It has ruined my quality of life. I dont’ really get much pleasure out of anything anymore. I feel like a robot

Info I found informative. Very technical / informational– Dr to Drs about celiac & gluten-free. If I understand correctly, one who is sensitive can NEVER EVER think they can have a hint of gluten, thanks to our “memory cells”. Yet the video says we must heal the damage in the gut. So much for the thought of an occasional donut… Yet after 9 months (did not take any supplements mentioned in video), I can tolerate granola one day a week, breaded chicken or fish without arthritis pain. But that is my gluten sensitive experience. ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=DjvKrAvolMQ&feature=en ...

A couple of very helpful supplements for depression are SAMe and 5HTP. 5THP got me through some very rough times where I was obviously low in seratonin. Pulled me out of it very fast. SAMe is a great mood enhancer and can be somewhat energizing if you are low in energy. [End]

Yes, there are. Many AF patients I see have no signs or symptoms of jaw clicking or popping or TMJ. I’ve found it to be very commonly associated with nervous tension, anxiety and stress more so than with anything else, whether it be candida, AF, whatever. Not all folks with TMJ have AF, but a lot do. ... ... Stress and especially emotional tension commonly creates tension around the mouth, jaw and facial muscles, and is probably one of the most common cause (of all) when it comes to tension headaches. I understand what you are saying and it is very smart to learn to make connections like this. According to my thinking, all disease and physical problems start as an energy imbalance which then manifests as a physical and/or psychological imbalance. When you start to put all the pieces together, everything starts to make a lot more sense. TMJ is a physical manifestation of a specific energy imbalance and this same energy imbalance also very often will lead to other problems like candida, adrenal fatigue, anxiety, stress, depression, brain fog, gas, bloating, and other symptoms. Hey guys. Just finished a bunch of testing with some conventional docs. Found out I have POTS. Anyways, how many here with AF have POTs, or Orthostatic issues? I’m trying to figure out what I should focus my treatment on. So, does the POTS cause the adrenals to become fatigued, resting heart-rate when standing is 120-140. That would cause anybody to be tired, as the heart is working so hard. Or, does the adrenal fatigue cause POTS?? (Chicken and the Egg, I know) Heart-rate and BP is controlled by Aldosterone and Renin, mine were shown to be low. Just want some others input here. ... ... So cra ...

Ok. So, after waiting around for almost 3 months. I have realized ”natural medicine” has no legitimate program for severe AF. Upon realizing this, and failing to appreciate and accept both Dr Wilson, and Dr. Lam’s protocol’s, I am taking the conventional route. I am done with supplements, as most supplements I’ve used for AF actually lower cortisol, which is why I feel worse. all I can say man is that when I was near addisons level they gave me 20mg hydrocortisone and after 3 months I was feeling much, much better. You make some valid comments, but it is sad that you don’t fully realize the validity of Dr. Wilson’s work. I’ve know this doc since 2006, have spoken with hundreds of patients who have been 100% ”cured” (if you like using that ”C” word) using his protocols. The problem with AF is this: not many docs really understand this condition, they pay lip service when it comes to helping their patient understand the causes of this condition. In my books, lifestyle (including diet) accounts for 80%+ of the cause. Pills ain’t gonna cut it with ANY syndrome, unless the lifestyle is fully addressed. Mo ...

Gupta was one of the first things I tried, naturally, since we have similar views on this being mind based. He seems to be sincere but he is not cured and nobody on his program will be cured. I’m sure of it. ... ... You have to go a lot deeper than just eliminating stressful thoughts and reactions in the moment to be cured. I see the biggest value of his program to be learning self awareness. Constantly checking on yourself is SO important to limit internal stress. You don’t need to pay $200 to practice self awareness though. [End]

Maybe a month? I have to be honest with you man, I’ve never heard of someone being fully cured or been convinced of those that claim they are. I believe I will be the first. I’m not trying to discourage you but to keep you from wasting time and money. It’s the same reason why I was warning people about this NB program. I just see where the path goes and it’s a circle. I know it’s unfair of me to tell people to wait until I’m finished since everyone wants to be free of this by yesterday. I should be done and have a (free) blog up with everything I know within the next few months. [End]

Yeah, well Gupta himself says to stick with it for a minimum of 6 months. All avenues must be covered. Diet, Sleep, Mental, Supplements, etc. My take on it, is that my anxiety caused me to get into this state. Fixing the anxiety alone will result in at least 50% recovery. The remainder is diet, and sleep. His model makes a ton of since, plus it’s got a 6 month money back guarantee. What do I have to lose, at a minimum it will help me quiet my mind, shut off my SNS, and that is worth the $190 , IMHO [End]

I agree with a lot of what he says, just a few things I don’t. It will help you learn mindfulness if that’s what you’re looking for. On the other side, it trains you to disconnect from your body. That is the opposite of what you want to do. When you combine not feeling your body and lowering stress, you don’t feel the symptoms as much. This shouldn’t be mistaken as healing though. Focus on the mindfulness and meditation aspects of it is what I’d recommend. [End]

Yeah. The way I look at it is this.. I am treating the cause of my AF, but in doing that it’s not necessarily the ”cure”, as we know that with AF it’s usually a pretty interesting situation with all the weird reactions, tolerance of supplements, sleep issues, etc. I think his model makes more sense to me than anything else I have found. Trauma is stored deep within the brain. Techniques like deep breathing and meditation are great for calming down, but don’t work on re-training the brain. I believe that if you don’t re-train your thinking, you will never, ever get better. This is one way ...

Anyone interested in joining an awesome yahoo group that focuses on TCM, light supplements, and awesome science specific to AF, pm me. It’s free and the lady is amazing. Just have some recent labwork, or at a minimum the 24/7 diurnal cortisol test ready. No HC, Isocort, Conventional Medicine, NB, or Lam. Custom based on you labwork. NB is so flawed for severe AF. Yeah, straight HC in Physiological dosages does appear to be safe. I.e eah, straight HC in Physiological dosages does appear to be safe. I.e 20 mgs a day. I don’t have enough balls yet either. I am trying to avoid that at all costs, because of dependency and dosing. electrolyte monitoring, etc. If my BP ever gets super low, or I faint or vomit, that’s when I will use it. I don’t know anything about TCM, but this group is awesome. Catabolism of muscle tissue.....I wonder if that is the cause behind my facial wasting. I have indentations all over my face - ranging from the size of the head of a pin, to several inches long. I’ve had them for probably 10 years or more. Since my AF has been so bad lately, it’s definitely gotten worse. Just last night I noticed a new round one the size of a nickel on my cheek and about an inch long line on my forehead. Biopsies have been negative for lupus and scleroderma. I’ve seen about 14 different derms and no one knows what it is, or what is causing it. [End]

Hi Amber, yes, I was exactly where you were 2 years ago - still on xanax, calling it my ”wonder drug” and then wondering why my AF was getting so much worse. If your serious about getting off the xanax (a very wise move) do consider checking into and registering at benzodetoxrecovery.com rather then following Professor Ashton’s cut and suffer method. Whatever you do dont let anyone talk you into a detox center, they don’t work and will make you much worse. You cannot detox off a benzo or any way cold turkey it. I always ask the women why they date who they date. No more important question than that. Don’t ask the sociopath why he who he is...who the hell cares? Not I. Don’t you be the one asking either. You’re not on this earth to cure everybody, to diagnosis the world’s losers. You need to date correctly, efficiently, dump the losers quick, and keep moving on. Develop a keen sense of who is a loser and who isn’t. If you pay attention to who you’ve been dating, you’ll see a pattern. Give me 10 things you notice about the last five loser guys you’ve dated...we’ll go from there. [End]

Hey Hawksfan, ... Awesome! I know what you mean by needing a break from the forums. It can be draining as the quest for healing takes your mind in so many directions with all the different info you get here. Invaluable for sure but sometimes taking a step back is necessary to get moving forward instead of second guessing every time we read something new and wonder if we should be doing that instead. ... Focus is key here. ... Take care....rest well....you will heal. Looking forward to reading your posts again when you return. [End]

It’s basically like this, fat and sugar don’t mix well, so you either have to go low-carb/meat-based or low-fat/plant-based. Coming off the SAD diet, either of those diets should make a person feel better and if someone was calorie-restricting on a plant-based diet, the higher-calorie meat-based diet is of course going to start making them feel better. ... ... I personally think low-carb/meat-based will cause problems in the long run as a lot on here who didn’t eat a plant-based diet properly got better after going low-carb, but are now starting to develop problems on it. I was one of them. ...

Hunger is a sign of not getting enough calories. If you are getting enough calories, those hunger feelings could be symptoms of Toxic Hunger like I had caused by a low-carb/meat-based diet. ... ... That’s why I personally recommend you try a sufficient calorie high-carb/low-fat diet first since you said you’ve eating more meat-based before and also mentioned you suffer from some psych problems. Low-carb diets worsen those kind of problems. The brain wants carbs for fuel first, will resort to fat for fuel as a backup but fat is a slower method for fuel. SO SO SO GOOD TO HEAR!! I am glad. I am just 2 days POST removal now. After 10 hours my breathing issue almost went completely away and I can feel it getting better. I had HORRIBLE hip pain that went away the day after removal. HOWEVER, day 2 and I got my period (first one in 17 months) and my hip pain came back with a vengeance at the same exact time. I know a lot of people who have had CFIDS ”solved” or ”cured.” I don’t think this is the cure, but I do know some who had their conditions reversed. Chemicals the doctors hand out for mega bucks cure nothing and add to the toxic overload the body is already dealing with. The body must be cleansed. Cancer itself is not the disease but is a symptom of another condition called acidosis. when the blood needs minerals to maintain the 7.365 ph it has to have the body robs those minerals from the cells and when the cells get depleted mutations start to occur and those mutations can be cancer. Adding minerals is needed, alkalizing is necessary and nothing alkalizes better than green vegetables , nothing does it better than juice combined with ...

I could only imagine the unrelenting pressure you must feel, yet you keep going. Most people would only complain and look for a way out, instead you are only focused on a way through. You must stop for a moment and pat yourself on the back. The world is truly a better because of people like you. Life is not exactly fair, but good things do come to those who work for them.
