So I have eaten coconut oil in a shot glass with warm tea, and it makes me fall asleep lol :) also I used it in my enema last night and intestinal soreness in so much better! Weirder though, I smeared it all over my body because I am on an anti parasite quest, and woke the next morning in a terrible body pain! Was I detoxing from the outside, in? Also, all sorts of weird mush is being released from the pores of my skin. I love it! But am afraid it can be dangerous. [End]

Yes, you need to find the cause, could from candida placing a burden on the immune system and the body as a whole or could be from other imbalances in the body. The most common cause of hair loss is a stressed nervous system. Hi there, ... ... My main interest is in traditional Indian medicine, so I will answer your post according to that way of thinking. Most people who have this type of imbalance will have candida to some extent as well as other long-term low grade infections that can cause all kinds of problems. Coconut oil is a nice oil to use on your skin. I mix shea butter, coconut oil, and avacado oil together. I first warm them, then when they are cool, yet partially starting to turn opaque, I then use an electric mixer and whip it into a ”lotion”. It lasts a long time and is not full of chemicals. Using commercial lotions means that what you put on your skin ends up in your bloodstream.... so stay away from all those store bought potions. Better to use natural things. [End]

I use virgin coconut oil for all over my body, inside and out. Hi, I’m brand-new to this forum but have already read so much good info. The last thing I read worries me though. I recently bought the Now brand of extra-virgin olive oil and it is packaged in a plastic container. I guess that’s why it was a little cheaper than most of the other brands in the health food store. Anyway, I have been oil pulling for about 3 weeks and enjoying the way it makes my mouth feel already and also using it in foods a little. Just gradually using more daily. We had a power outage a couple of weekends ago that lasted 36 hours. We have a generator so were able t ...

Thank you for responding. There had just been an earlier thread where they were talking about coconut oil in plastic containers and said if it got too warm and leaked through that the chemicals in the plastic got into the coconut oil. I didn’t want to be defeating my purpose here. :) [End]

Hi all ... ... I’m wondering if any of you can tell me if you’ve ordered coconut oil from Wilderness Family Naturals in the past year. ... ... The last time we ordered, the coconut oil was definitely yellow in color. It’s supposed to be clear when in liquid form. They even state this on their website. I had low stomach acid but I seem to have gotten rid of it by taking coconut oil and lemons for 1.5 day. I still get the instant bloating and I did even when taking betaine hcl. I am 80% sure it is not stomach acid related as I had been taking all the stomach acid enhancing supplements for a while and my bloating + other symptoms did not stop. [End]

LOL - not meaning to be the scolding school marm here.
