The body stores acids in fat to protect itself from the acids. Sugar as an example is extremely acidic therefore the body makes fat to store those acids. Artificial sweeteners are also very acid so the body makes fat to store them as well along with other acid foods and drinks such as alcohol, coffee, meat, white breads, high fructose corn syrup, cigarettes, pharmacutical drugs, and more. The body creates fat, holds water, and makes cholesterol to protect itself and when those acids make contact with an organ like say the heart, liver,or pancreas inflammation and disease sets in. Eating acid forming foods such as meat, milk, breads, sugars, artificial sweeteners etc also create the problem. Candida is a direct result of poor colon function and if you have it you also have parasites and probably leaky gut. The gut needs to be healed the leaky gut needs to be healed. There’s large cholesterols, formed by both saturated and polyunsaturated fats, which actually help in a way to scour the bloodv ...

Lol Hunter, and hopefully they were sweet dreams. No need for apologies for going to bed, you c’n just write in the mornings! I guess the cucumber thing can be done during a slight high like 8-9? I looked around the forum to find out what might be causing my morning rise in blood sugar. Last night around 7 p.m. my BS was 127, this morning it was 164. This type rise has been going on for the past 6 months. I am semi vegetarian, I do eat eggs, fish and cheese, I try very hard to stay away from any kind of carbos. I’m a diabetic and insulin dependent and when my immune system is bunk the candida grows. I’ve taken tons of Nystatin too. Just like bacterial infections, candida somehow interrupts endocrine secretions from getting to where they need to be to do their work. One example is prohibiting the pancreas’s insulin from getting into the cell where it metabolizes blood sugar. In other words, it’s a candida ’infection,’ which causes high blood sugar. When I use Nystatin, my blood sugar can suddenly fall rapidly, causing hypoglycemia. It’s the candida that causes the high blood sugar, and the use of ...
